Bottomless Degeneracy here of course .. Will get around to doing a Part 3 with some other things I wanted to touch on, but for now I have a blast from the past...

For those of you that read Overweight & Confused, but missed out on the visual value. Also for those that may want to re-live this moment in time(NSFW).

Since my last update was so consumed with a single Degen night, I will keep those type of stories isolated for future write-ups. Just going to touch on few more random things from the past couple months of the grind, to finish this update.
Being a poker forum, let's talk poker! I played mostly 1-2 NL & 2-5 NL for the duration. Occasional 1-2 PLO & 2-5 PLO. I tried to play 8-16 mix when it ran, and 20-40 stud when the game looked good. I did initially track results, but that went out the window once SPS was playing on his own funds. Thinking back now, I was a winner in each variety. Biggest single session win was $1,400ish, which came from a drunk session of 1-2 NL. Which lasted about 7 hours until I sobered up in the early morning hours. I had a bunch of quick $500-$1k wins in all games, but never really grinded for too long. Had about 3-4 losing sessions of 2-3 buy-ins. Most lost in a session was $1k. Overall guesstimate would be +$5k over a 6 week period of maybe 120 hours. I also played a decent amount of nightly tourneys. Soft fields which resulted in a few cashes and a bunch of practical bubbles. Rough idea would be -$800 on that grind.
Don't really like to talk boring standard hand histories. But I do have one amusing hand that comes to mind. I sit for $500 max in a new 2-5 NL game that is starting 5 handed. Second hand dealt I'm small blind with 44. UTG fold, very old man makes it $15 with a $300 stack, button folds. Best player at the table makes it $50, big blind reg kid flats. Old man gets the calling chips into the pot in a slow withered fashion. J42 flop, and the most popular guy at the table leads for $50. Reg who overvalues himself reluctantly folds after contemplating all other fancy plays. Old man shows signs of life and youthfully makes it $100 with $185 behind. Guy who gets the most chicks at the table ships it in, while old man ponders then calls. Board runs out 8, 9. WTF! Four hearts.. Old man states he does not have the 6 of hearts and mucks after a thorough inspection.
Well if your saying to yourself that hand wasn't amusing, your absolutely right. Was just setting the stage for the fun hand. After about 45 minutes I get moved because that table was a must move. Sit down with $900 at new table of mostly regs chatting it up. A lot of inside jokes and such. Whatever, I'm just in time for the BB. Folds to older reg who limps button. SB completes and I decide to bang it to $40 with my AK. Action on button, and he moans for a minute or so about not wanting to fold. I interpretate that as him assuming I'm some crazy guy, blasting first hand out of the blind. Then when he sees the SB instantly muck right after him, he says how he should have called with his A9, but wasn't sure what SB was going to do. I'm thinking to myself, wow some of these old regs are so terrible/territorial. Very next hand, folds to same old reg and he makes it $35 from the CO with a stack of $800ish. Fold to me, squeeze KK in SB, and I'm thinking this is going to be perfect. I snap stick out a stack of reds ($145ish). Now I'm waiting for this old buzzard to put the call in, but after some deliberation he makes it $300. Weird, old regs don't make moves, but I'm not going to over-think this and say all-in. Then I hear the "Alright, I call" line. I snap say I got kings, probing for the I got aces response. Sure enough he tables AA. I tell the whole table how stupid this ****ing game is. Thought I had this sucker right where I wanted him, which wasn't an 8-1 favorite.
Spoiler:
Then the dealer rolls off the KQ7 flop for this $1700 pot. I didn't even get excited while the whole table moaned with oohs and awes. That's cause I've seen this movie before, I know what's coming.
Spoiler:
Then like I pictured, the filthy mother ****ing A rolls off on the turn. I'm numb to the even louder screams from the table about the drama. As for that movie I've seen before, I must have fell asleep before the ending, because the dealer dropped the river and there was an uproar to the fact that I now had quadruple cowboys.
After the spectators and excitement diminished, I threw the dealer a $30 tip, and began stacking chips. Guy down the end of table says to me "Is poker still a stupid game?". I tell him "Obviously, there's the proof". The old reg starts talking to himself. Saying "I almost just showed you the aces". How pathetic I think, as he gos on about his bad luck. **** him and his alleged bad luck. While he is telling me how clear it was that he had ACES. I looked at him and told him "It was hard to put you on only raising aces there when you just cried about having to fold A9. He got mad and took a walk.
That HH took way to long to write. Let's talk about table games. Here are the results I screen-shotted today for SPS and myself for 2015.
Not exactly sure how I have such an odd number for a loss. Maybe some weird commission factor on Baccarat
SPS clearly has a love for slot machines away from the table. Besides bleeding at poker that's where he burned his sugar daddy's allowance. Yes I am in fact a loser like many others, but I am ahead accounting for the comp system. With that small loss, I earned about 1,000 player points which are dollar for dollar on spending. I've been given about $1,500 in additional points, promos, vouchers, and free bets. I'm pretty accurate with my $50 free bet coupons, batting like .900. The free weekly points are nice because you can just accumulate them and go shopping whenever. Had about a $2,000 balance but recently went clothes shopping with my girl(Instead of saving for Breitling). Let's not forget about the free rooms they give me Sun-Fri and the lounge access for food and drinks. My comps are starting to cut back because my play has become inconsistent with all the poker playing. Hosts frown upon poker players, but whatever, I know how to work the system. SPS has basically zero offers with his loss being more than mine.
Just recently I went up on a Friday night for a party. Needed a large suite, but with my play being reduced, I needed to network for this 2,000 sq. ft. studio suite I wanted. I was able to arrange a contact through a poker buddy, that would be able to get this accomplished(pretty hard to do on a weekend). I had a free regular room that night and was able to make a deal to swap rooms with this contact, so I could rage it in the suite. I had to give this contact my name to add to the reservation and met with him when I got there to exchange room keys. After a bit of casino small talk, he asked if I was WarmDeck. Turns out, he is a mod here and put 2 and 2 together(not a 2+2 joke). What a small world, we have actually PMed each other and briefly met at the casino through 3rd party in past, but never linked the forum handles with each other. He was cool and def took care of me.
If there is any hip-hop music fans reading, you might enjoy this. Forgot what day of week it was, but Wins was crashing with us and partying. Have some good stories about those nights, but will save for another story. We're a little hungover one morning and Wins is scrolling through his phone. I don't recall how he was informed, but it's like 1030AM and he shows me a picture of French Montana on Instagram. It's a picture of him at Foxwoods posted like 5 minutes prior. I knew exactly where it was, the Stargazer Casino on the 25th floor. Pretty much VIP and not too many know about it. So we get somewhat dressed and head off to find him. We get off the elevator and are stopped by a Foxwoods security guy in a suit. We can hear French Montana music blasting inside the doors to the Stargazer. First he asks if we are there to play blackjack. Wins looks at his phone like ignoring the question and I kind of nod no. He then gets very friendly and says "Oh sorry, you guys are here for the video shoot". So we start following him in. This guy starts yelling "Kid! Kid!, they're here." I start to think this is embarrassing, whoever this "Kid" is, is going to be like WTF who are you. So I drag behind Wins lead. Now Wins is standing there surrounded by French Montana's entourage and they are all sitting there looking at him wondering who he is. I couldn't take it and turned around at that point. Wins bailed too and met me at the elevator while camera guys were getting off. We left and thought about going back, Wins blew his chance to meet him and possibly be in video shoot. Later we find out who "Kid" was. Kid Art the video producer. Throughout the day we would check high roller areas looking for him, but not too much luck other than being on elevators with his associates and giving small casino advice to them. Then at the end of the day, we ended up locked out of our room because the lock was malfunctioning. We went downstairs to complain and the younger kid assisting us said it would be a bit. He asked if there was anything he could do to make it up to us, so being the fan Wins is, he said just tell us where French Montana is. The kid acknowledged seeing him earlier but wasn't sure. Then ironically he was behind us walking out the lobby to his awaiting tour bus. Wins immediately went after him for a picture. I had too much pride to chase him for that. Wasn't like it was Phil Ivey or anything.
Well this is my final installment of the Update Request. Sorry for lack of Degeneracy in this one. Degenerate stories deserve a solo edition. Until then, keep the spirit alive fellow Degens...

no bad beat jackpot for aces full of kings beat by quads?
Foxwoods bad beat is losing with quad 8's or better with both players using both cards in the hole. Only good part is that it is routinely over $100k. Currently 194k as I write this.
