Tigers blowing the game due to errors really hurts today. Had a great one going with Phillies Detroit Houston. Paid a shade over 40k (ran up 1750 deposit into 6.8k).

Then came home got vouchers and punted on BJ. Tough night. May have eaten the bullet for tomorrow too. It’s days like these that make it difficult but it’s all apart of parlaying. Trying to stay positive..just getting harder and harder.

eating bullets is tasty, one of my friends digged a bullet out of his arm and eaten it so police doesnt identify the attacker. Many years afterwards we’ve been calling him his name + The gourmand.

Any thoughts on just returning to single games (maybe half of your bullet on two games at a time) to reduce some of the parlay variances? Seems like you're solid at picking a majority of the parlay.

Yes they did. But that was after blowing a 5-1 lead. Guy came home from first on an infield groundout to tie it. Then Tigers benefited from an error to re take the lead. But then very next inning Tigers make an error and again that baserunner comes home on an infield grounder that should have been an out. Bottom line it was a disgusting game and it happens. Just sucks when you need it.

Can’t really sell the Audi. I did a one pay lease for 45k. It’s probably worth 35 now. Still not going to sell it. I can gamble 35k away in 10 days.

betting on huge favorites or "sure bets" is boring, as a gambler you want to go big or go home.

yeah sure you could run your debt up, but you can also buy things that you normally couldnt buy. I think thats the risk gamblers are willing to take.

Yes he could theoretically bink his way out like last time in a thrilling, forget about all my problems miracle. Or he could far more likely lose 200k and literally ruin the rest of his life with a horrible shame and debt hole with cc interest. Any future woman he falls in love with is likely to just split the second she finds out about that. And what will this do to his relationship with his parents? Snipes, stop gambling tomorrow. Sell your car for whatever you can and come up with a viable safe business investment that will allow you to pay off the remaining debt over the next 1-2 years of your life without it ruining you. Open up entirely to a family member who can help you with this. Cut up your cards, delete your internet saved credit card ccvs so you can't keep depositing etc.

You won't do it because you're addicted to the rush. Find other things in your life that give you a feeling of success and get your rush there. For me attracting beautiful women gave me the same feeling of winning in life but better.

Eh I appreciate everyone’s advice. I just don’t care for it. Some of us understand this especially with what happened last time. It’s not meant to come across as an insult nor am I trying to be rude. I’m just stating unfortunate facts as to who I am as a person. I can’t process logical thinking. It’s part of the disease. I fight it every day I just happen to fail every day.

People here have given me great advice in the past. I could find multiple posts..heck I remember them to this day. But it doesn’t change that I never take it into consideration..because I just can’t.

It happens periodically, when people stop posting degen stories and just start documenting their compulsive gambling losses.

The past few weeks here are like somebody posting every single day in a Crazy Drinking Stories thread: "Today I drank a bottle of vodka, lost a bar fight, then passed out in a ditch." After a few days, most people will think, "Ummm...maybe you should look into not doing that repeatedly? Or at least mix it up a bit?"

Yea Snipes is a straight up addict. He’s a fairly entertaining one, though. Hopefully he looks for help for his addiction before he breaks his parents hearts by swiping a big chunk of cash to cover his debts

No we are just smart enough to realise that he has been told it all before and still wants to keep betting so it is his choice and his life. The amounts he bets are entertaining and make great stories.
