Short and sweet. Started with a 50$ deposit ran it up to 3k over the weekend by smashing a couple big field MTT's. Played 5-10 and lost it in 2 hours. Now I can't feed my cats because I deposited my entire savings to try and run it back up. Currently down 2k.

Birthday today and instead of going out with friends I stayed in to watch nfl

My picks were browns in early games then Denver and Oakland and when they all lost I put nearly all my money on Dallas

Friend knocks and said had good night and some girl was asking were I was, she ended up going with a friend I don't like

So year older depression because wake up with a huge losses and no money to enjoy today

So am not doing it again because it worst then waking up with a hangover.....

I lose were it affects my life but I keep telling my self that if I bet within my means, it won't harm me as I only bet 50/50 bets example one team beat other

So really I should just lose to juice as I bet mostly singles with some accas

I’m not really that bad of a degen but I’ve enjoyed this thread so much I thought I’ll post some degen stories(nothing too extreme) of mine:

When I was 14 I won 13 games of sports bets in a row only to lose all of my profits back in 3 games. I also tried to sell my shoes for money to bet when I was busto. I’ve stopped betting on sports. Oh yea this was all soccer.

I once busted 2 buyins at a 1-3 cash game and got up walked to the BJ table and placed a max bet of 500 on one hand. Dealer showed an A and i picked up A also. My 9 ended up winning his 8.

Few years ago I ran a 50 dollar deposit into 500 playing nl25 online. One night I lost 4 buyins and proceded to tilt the rest of my roll playing BJ.

Never bet falcons and they win that is how I am doing terrible

Had biggest ever win on slots ace venture feature round lost some on space invaders so put the lot plus my own money on Vikings -3 if wins ok Xmas if not I am screwed

Surely odds are I get a bet up as not won for last 20 bets , won odd bet but never won money as other bets lost....

Was at a big home game in China that went all night. An American guy told his family he would wake up early (8 A.M.) to Skype them because it was Thanksgiving their time. His plan was to leave at 7 to get home on time to message them, but he was stuck almost 15k US and had to keep playing. So he borrowed the Lithuanian host's computer and a grey sleeping shirt to make it look like he just woke up, ruffled his hair a bit, and Skyped his family from the host's bedroom. Came back a half hour later to lose 20k more over the course of several hours.

Another week of nfl turns into another I can't pick a winner and lose all my money
