Snipes,

I've been there. I chose gambling over girlfriend, work, health, family & friends. I repeated to myself "if only I can win the next game, I promise I will stop." Lost youth is far more valuable than the dollars you are chasing.

You have the beast in your grip, it's time to let it go.

Snipes I eagerly checked the Seahawks score praying you hit... I felt a dagger in my heart when I saw. You're close, one will hit. I hope you somehow managed to get a few grand on Tennessee to at least win something

Snipes if you're borrowing money, make sure its not from someone who is willing to Kill you or go after your family.

I cashed out my roll on partypoker and they doomswitched me, does anyone wanna flip me for my remaining $ on partypoker its like $730

Is there a thread for that i figured in the degen thread someone would want to flip

I would flip you but I don't have a party poker account so no

Snipes you are no fun, you so close with Seahawks game and only takes one big parlay to get out debt

What you want join rat race earn few 100k so retired when 70 and die

NO NO NO it is the chase that is the rush not winning

You only want to win to stay in action not get out of debt

The chase and the waiting on bets is a rush that block your demons and fill your head and day with meaning

Stoped betting what would you do with all free time ? Inner voice that wants that void to be filled and the chase fills it with the rush of action

People want to be something and fit in, to late for every one as you are made who you are when your young and us old dogs ain't learning how be social creatures know

Just have ride out your time best you can

So stop beating your self up over being human and realize were all in pain trying to get though the day

Some are better then others and your place and who you are will always be the same

Its like that and thats the way it is huh.......

It's 2017 brah...The amount he is borrowing would require a sane mind to possess the amount he requires. And he's talking about co signing and collateral etc. this is the adult world.

You're more likely to get killed for $10 on a crack head or something.

Don't bring that attitude in here...

So according to you, you think you're more likely to get killed over $10 than 45k? You sir are a clueless moron.

Funny how I am the only person offering real genuine advice and people are flocking to this thread to tell me what i should or should not do.

Funny how trying to help someone with honesty brings people to respond negatively. Are you guys blind??

Ya just go around borrowing huge sums of money with no real way of paying it back and expect everything to just be okay. Like taking on more debt to pay off debt is a normal thing. I seriously question the mentality of some of you people.

Some of you are so out of touch with reality its mind boggling and i have no idea how some of you people can survive without your parent's supervision.

Note: this post isn't directed at Snipes, only the people who tell me to "shut up" and continue to egg him on.

I would bet everything I own and you own in a bet more people die each year with $<100 debts as opposed to people who owe >40k.

You sir are living in the movies and television, how did you make it this far?

You're on the wrong side of the matrix and don't even know it

You're just making statements with no facts or stats to back up what youre saying. No **** Crime and poverty go hand in hand, I doubt anyone is gonna get buried in a dessert over ten dollars like you're claiming. Oh it happens all the time though according to you.

You also don't know a thing about the person or who he intends to borrow from. Yet I was telling him to beware of something and you show up shooting your mouth off making general statements as if theyre facts.

gtfo.

Just stfu already.

I was dating my ex for about a year when we decided to go to a concert down south. Her brother lived there in the big city and she wanted me to meet him. Cool, I thought...

We arrive a day before the concert and are supposed to meet her brother for dinner and drinks. We drive to the waterfront in our rental and she goes "there he is, there he is!"

"Where?"

All I see is a big, big, tatted up dude standing in front of a brand new, shiny escalade. Not to stereotype but this guy looked scary as **** lol.

I park beside him and she goes "CJ!!"

I get out to greet him, introduce myself, and he gives me a funny look and averts his eyes to my girlfriend. He lets out a "whatsup bro" followed up quick by "you a cop??"

I look perplexed "No, I'm a student, I, I.." He started laughing and said okay good, it was just my hair that apparently screamed I'm a cop lol. We decide to take his ride to dinner. I asked my girlfriend what he did for work before we got there and she said he owned and operated a small business. He had four phones in the center console I decided not to ask about...

He asked me what I did for work, I said I helped with my brothers roofing business whenever I could, and supplemented that income with online poker. His eyes lit up.

"You gamble?"

My girlfriends name is Taylor. Her brother is CJ, his girlfriend is B.

Out of nowhere, CJ says he's going to drop Taylor off with B. There's been a change of plans, and B apparently really wants to see Taylor and catch up for a bit. He tells her instead of us all grabbing lunch, we'll grab dinner. CJ will let them catch up, while he shows me around town. Taylor looked at me to protest, but I said I was fine with those plans. I'm from such a small little town, exploring any big city leaves me in awe.

"You make big money gambling online?"

"Not really, I play pretty small stakes, it does the job though, I'm living all right for a student. I do roofing when I can as well."

"You been to the River Rock here?"

"Nope."

"We're going to the River Rock after we pick some people up, cool?"

We pick up two of his friends who look like stereotypical thugs, but I'm trying not to judge at this point. We also pick up a chick, who immediately seems like his side chick. He shoots me a look as if to say I'm not seeing anything. I nod, letting him know I read him loud and clear.

As we're heading into the casino I say I need to go to a bank. He told me it's cool, they have ATMs. We get there, and I ask for directions to the ATM. CJ tells me it's all cool he'll give me cash, the ATMs are too far away, just pay him back.

He pulls out a wallet just stacked with what appears to be 50's and 100's. He breaks out five 100 dollar bills and tries to hand them to me. "Oh no, maybe just $100."

He looks at me confused, and gives me one hundred dollars. At this point I've never played in a real live casino with dealers, just one with automatic machines. He brings us all over to an empty blackjack table, and we all sit. He gives his side chick a $50, and tells her to go play slots. She looks happy and does. We all start buying in, CJ buys in for $2,000. His friends buy in for a few hundred each, I buy in for $100.

He loses it all in about fifteen minutes, not even flinching. He orders a few drinks, and buys in for another $3,000. He walked over to roulette and tossed $500 on something. He came back to blackjack and threw $1,000 on two hands. I guess he had a friend on the roulette table, because they screamed over to us he had won. His first hand he had AA, his second hand he had 20, he sees his AA and screams ****, he has to split. He throws another $1,000 cash down, and splits them. He drew 21 and 20. He has 21, 20, and 20 vs a dealer 4. We all play our hands, and the dealer turns over an 8, showing an 8 and 4.

The dealer pulls a ten.

CJ screams "****!! **** ****ING GOOFS, EVERY FUC--" and punches his drink over. He thought the 8 was a 7, and thought the dealer hit 21. He didn't realize he won. We all calm him down, he gets a big warning from staff. His buddies tell him to cool it, he's banned from the other, better places.

He went and grabbed his $1,500 from roulette and came back firing hard on two spaces. I lost my $100, and CJ asked if I wanted to go get us drinks, the waitresses are **** here. I take a drink order and leave.. and come back to the blackjack table going wild. Apparently CJ just hit $7,500 on a side bet, the max win, on top of whatever else he was playing. He's up like $25,000 at this point and everyone is going wild, excited.

It's getting around dinner time, my girlfriend is non stop texting me. I tell CJ we should leave as he's up big and the girls are getting antsy. He agrees and we're off. He drives us to a pretty upscale hotel, and books a pretty expensive room.

CJ comes back this time his side chick is driving. CJ looks back at me and says "you like treats?" I was confused.

"You know, treats, party favours?" and taps his nose...
