Thanks guys. It was one hell of an experience, and I have told a few select people in my life that story. To be honest though, it's taken years to get to the point where I can look back on it with a smile and say "Wow what a crazy time" rather than think "****ing hell I'm such an idiot, I hate myself."

When I got up I used a pillow to artfully conceal the wet patch. In all honesty though the stewardesses probably knew what had happened, but they were far too polite and well trained to even have me suspect that they knew, let alone mention it to me. You don't pay £6000 for someone to embarrass you when you piss yourself. Probably happens reasonably often to rich old guys.

I've thought about that. Probably what would have happened is I'd have bought an ounce, lost all my money just as quickly, then spent the rest of the time trying to hustle the ounce in Macau so I could gamble again. It could have turned out a lot better, or I might still be in some Chinese jail today, haha.

I do wonder what would have happened if the roulette wheel had spun differently or different cards came out of the baccarat shoe though. If I had doubled up, tripled up, or just broken even, would I even be alive today? At that point in my life I was totally dead set on self destruction. If I had the means to do so I might have done it comprehensively.

Looking back on it, the whole experience gave me such a huge shake that it did actually set me back on the path to the straight and narrow. Maybe that beat was actually a huge win.

Doesn't feel that way when I look at my measly ****ing roll though.
