Key Degening Lesson Learnt:
Degening $100-$1K requires a lot of luck. So don't waste chips trying to make moves or be fancy. Instead call with trash hands and hope to get lucky. if you dont hit hard just check down ur trash and hope you hit some ****ty 2 pair. see as many flops turns and rivers for as cheap as possible to maximize your sucking out potential. play blackjack if ur stack gets too low or after u go on a sick heater.

lol this is my first post, since everyone is sharing i think ill share too. i honestly belive i am the biggest low stakes degen, (maybe youngest too)

anyways i started at 16 yo, playing 1$ pokerstars with friands, the whole lets be at same table and talk on phone thing..... was fun
17 comes around, i found out i can deposit with western union on fake accounts, i have 500$ in my bank account. i of cource sayto my self (dude your awesome go win millions) of cource i didnt even think about how to cashout lol...., so i deposit 500$, and i go play 0.05/0.10 for about 10 minuts, after i win about 10$ i think i am baller and go up to 0.5/1 first hand i still remember, my j10 off suit, i flop 3 jacks , guy catches river... 100$ shipped away from me. i go insta tilt (i had no idea of tilt before) and open up 4 more 0.5/1 tables with my full br on them (100 each), after couple hours, all 4 tables go to 0.

i get pissed off..............., smash my mouse, it breaks. i then realize that was my only mouse, i have no cash in account, my parents are poor, next paycheck is in 2 weeks. ****

alright lets fast forward about 6 month from then, i finish up hs, no clue how i passed all cources as i was skipping half of them playing 2$ poker with friands outside... anyways i got the whole summer to myself
and i dedicate myself to becoming pro poker player..... so there was a stars promotion like 10 entries to wsop though sattelites, i started making multiple account, on account 43 i get to final table of last sattelite, it gets to heads up, first gets wsop seat second gets 4.5k, i of cource want 4.5k since i am underage. now the other player sits out... i guess he was underage too, and i sit out as well, there are like dozens of railbirds waching this and they go berserk. w sit like that for half hour, mod comes along, says dudes better start playing or else. so i start playing and go all in with 74, he calls with 85, his hand stands and i see a nice 4.5k in account. 5 min later i am banned and ps says cause of multiaccounting i do not win anything, and also cause i am underage i am banned forever.

a few month go by, i go to college. life is good, i am finally 18... i make legit account on stars, and get my first credit card. OH if i knew, anyways
5k gone in about 5 days. i then of cource went into degen tilt mode thinking i am in such deep **** i got nothing to lose now, so i go and lose 10k of my osap which i had to give to college in 2 weeks. my parents find out and i take out 15k loan from bank, maying for college. i start partiing in college and fail out in first term. i go back home and start working in fast food restaurant, every paycheck i got for next 7 month i used to deposit online, i had 500 every 2 weeks
470-480 went to pokerz. anyways summer comes again and my dad loses his job, and they think i have about 5k saved up from my work...
and the sad part is they actually relied on that money, if i didnt give them it we were gonna lose home cause no way to pay mortgage. now you probably wont belive me but on the las paycheck before i had to give parents money i won a turney for 7k, (100$ turney on stars that starts at 1 am) it was so awesome. i quickly cashout and give rents 7k instead of 5
i tell them about poker, also i quit my job cause i though i turned pro poker player...

now i am 19 years old soon to be 20 and i found out about insta debit, about 2 weeks ago i donked off 2k from my account (i had 2.1k in account) and today i decided to go and deposit on ub for first time. i had 40 in my checking account, i deposited 10$ 4 times

I use to be a pool shark before i started playing poker.This bigtime crystal meth dealer use to come in the pool room and i beat him out of about 5,000 in a weeks time .I got an urge to go gambling in the casino and had a plan.I figured if i was gonna gamble i should gamble big and quick and it would give me the best chance to win,i take 5 k to biloxi bet 1 k a roll on dont pass,the dice was rolled about 10 times total ,my 5k was audios .I come back to town and find out the crystal meth dealer has been busted and serving 10 years in prison.

Got my first credit card 2 years ago and witha £1600 limit what else am i gonna do but gamble. Started off by just sports betting ie £5 for United to win 1-0 then started to go to casino after i left my GF's at midnight to play some cash games till about 4 and get up for work at 7.30. First cash game i played was dealers choice as no NL was running. Turned £100 into £450 and thought i knew it all. Next time i would go if i was waitin for a game i would play roulette just betting £5 on black or red and if i lost doublin it. Think biggest bet i had doing this was £300 and luckily won it. So then started goin to bookies on my lunch hour across the road from work and doin the same on the roulette machines. One guy who was always in there playin roulette was stood behind me once and was shocked to see me using this system for roulette. So back to the cash games and im makin money one night and losing it back a little more the next night till it all suddenly catches up on me and i have gone over my credit card limit and have basically no cash ever. I have just finished paying the card off now after my 1 month gambling streak that didnt end well and f'ed up my credit rating along the way. The Gf wants to get a house next year. No idea how i will get a mortgage!

My brother banned his Ft account on purpose after deposited anywhere from $500-2000 grand everyday for a matter of months. He would start out low .50/1 Hu built it up take a beat then sit full at 10/20 or 25/50 hu. Sometime he did good but would usualy just lose it all back. he did this for a number of months, some might remember him as "mr. mudflap." He hasn't played in a while but did regurly have a few of 5K cashouts. I can only wonder how much he lost over the year or so. Sad sorry but he had money to burn so what the hell. Since I have been doing well over the last year or so, he consideres playing again but I know exactly what will happen. He sid he would deposit $100 and play small. That will last for all of about 20 mnutes. He will win or lose some, go on uber-tilt, roll it up huge then lose it all. Really a sad sorry as he is actually a decent player but has no clue about br management or emotional control. Anybody got similar degen stories to share?
