Got paid out cricket bet as dead heat rules won a bit as I had outsider of the two teams ( he said sorry so he still alive )

And when it comes to watching sports you have money on . Never being able to watch it because it is to stressful to watch when there’s money involved?

I used to bet just for sweats, then things started getting serious. Mulitple losses leads to bigger bets.

Mulitple wins, while betting small, i would tilt, thinking "im a lil pussy, i play like ****, bookies are trying to give me money and yet i dont want the full value??? but when i run bad i give them the full value??? " and that thought would tilt me.

This is why i dont play sports as much as i used to, and if i do, id just blast away, that way if i win i would feel happy and not tilt for no reason.

Ive come to a conclusion that even if games are "+ev", i would still lose, due to tilt, greed, degen evs, which leads to everything being -ev.

I go to a 2/5/10 PLO game where everyone there plays like leon and matt kirk, small business owners just want to gamble, no tryhard players. 3-4 ways all in happens at least 3 times every 10 hands. ive built decent bankrolls from nothing in days all the time, and i did it with skill, not luck, ppl dont know anything about PLO there. However some days when my sets dont hold up, i would tilt away, gamble preflop, blast away on some over/under sports game, and would end up broke. So all the money ive made there has been giving back in other forms of gambling.

I have a few friends at a casino, same story - grinds out poker, made alot of money really fast. but would ended up hitting the pits after mulitple losing days. Ended up broke and would borrow money and repeat.

So theres really no "+ev" in my degen world. gotta find ways to get out of this world soon.... after im done dealing with my debts, i will seriously quit gambling, i mean quit forreal, no small bets for "fun", no gamble once in a blue moon, but QUIT forever.

Lost 1600 online last weekend after a spell of abstinence, won £1500 yesterday playing roulette in the bookies, today I went back to bookies won another £500. Went back up there this afternoon and lost £3500. Sicko.
Won 18k up the casino earlier in the year but have lost over half that back now.
I’m done with gambling now.
I’m in no debt but 18 years of gambling is taking its toll.
I’m never coming back to this site either.

**Kinda long post… sums up the last 2 weeks or so playing poker.**
So I am leaving my current job to go back to my old job (another job I hate) and since I am going to be leaving in ~2 weeks (at the time) I figure who cares if I am out “sick”
I work until approx. 430pm M-F, and live approx. 4hrs15 min from Borgata. Well its Thursday and it’s the last day to enter the $600 CarlAlwaysRunsLikeAPrick 1M GTD they run. So I say I have a Dr. Appt to leave @ 1pm. My office has lunch at 1230, so I figure if I say 1, ill really just leave at 1235 once they leave, just to give me an extra half hour. So I take off to the Borgata and naturally people can’t drive so there are tons of accidents. It takes me over 5+ hours to get there.
I enter the last flight of the tourney. I already see some of the clowns I cant stand. You know, the ones who make those stupid ass faces as they bet hands. Headphones half on their heads, ipads out, thinking they are some pro. Dude, you’re 49 years old and suck at this game. Anywho, I got Bozo #1 in a hand and he just tilts me starring at him. I look down @ 46dd. Bozo #1 opens UTG and 3 callers come along. I call late position and we see a flop. 3h5s7s. BOOM. Lets go you prick.
He makes another stupid face that would easily cause someone on edge to finally snap. SB checks BB checks, he jams 37k. I am sitting on 19k (started with 25k) I also shove. Now action back to the SB… tanks tanks tanks… and calls. I flip over my 6/4 like a G. Suck it Dbag. He turns over Q10ss…. And SB turns over 38ss. Sweet. Oh wait… turns a 4… rivers a 6…. 38ss scoops with the 8 high straight. F off.

Proceed to reenter 4 more times, get it in ahead every time except once, and you know the rest. So naturally life tilt. Left work early, down about 3k.. and its like 1am so there is no way I am driving home. So I of course call in sick Friday morning (planned perfectly to leave thur for the doctor appt) and I decide to enter the 150k GTD $100 bounty tourney. Before the day even started I just knew how it would end up. And I was exactly right. I played literally all day, until the very last level and get AK. I got about 17bb. Maniac opens, and a guy to my right slowly grabs his chips (HANDS SHAKING LIKE CRAZY) “RAISE”. F U tubby. Im all in. folds around he he piles his chips in. Naturally AA.
Flop is 10dKh3d. I have Ad. Turn is the Qd…. Wow … can it be? Can we… NO F U. River Queen. GG. Thanks for stoppin’. So now its about 130am and we sprint to the car and drive home as fast as we can screaming out the window. About 2 hours in…. I decide to fire up the PPPoker app! Proceed to get it in as an 87% favorite for 2k and lose. F*cking sick day, im down 5k. Want to murder someone. Absolutely raging.
Fast forward 3 days later, I deposit $200 on Ignition and run it up to 4.2k – Sweet. Got most of my $ back. Ok if we could just… AND ITS GONE. Sat 10/20 PLO and continued to run like a dumb ****. Gone. F’ing GONE. F poker.

Great. So I essentially just think to myself how I torched close to 10k and how I remember why this game is so dumb, and how I wish it was outlawed for the world. Well I fire up $400 one last time on PPPoker and sit 5/10 PLO and run it up to 5k. Wooo! 48 hours later won another 2k or so. Took a cashout of 4k, got most of my $ I blew away. Felt lucky and deposited $500 on ignition last night. Decided to take a shot @ the $162 112k Sunday Special and the $325 100k Gtd. Get sucked out on (typical) in the 100k and bust early 100s for a cash worth $300 or something. Dip down below to 2bb in the $325 tourney, run it back up and somehow am in 9th with 49 players to go and 19k up top.

Don’t worry guys .Its the same old story with me and Ignition. Always get a nice double, have a good stack and then ALWAYS lose 1-2 pots right after, get it in ahead, and lose. Same thing here again. After my double I find myself with JJ. Chip leader opens 2.3x – I flat (F me) and 3 others tag along. Flop comes 8-9-Q with a flush draw. Check, Check (idiot) check check. Turn 3. Check, check. Dude bets 1/3 pot. Fold fold, I call. River 5. Check he again bets 1/3 pot. I call and he shows 33. You POS. Hope you break your legs.

So now we have ~45k or so, blinds 1500/3000 and we get AJ in the SB. Folds around. I jam. BB snap calls with A7. Flop is nothing. Ignition shows me @ 77%. 77? SWEET! TURN 7! … RIVER 7! F*CKERS.
Bust that ****show and am super raging. However when all of that was going on, ran $220 into $2800 playing PLO lol. Ended night with ~3100 in the account.

Cliffs – left work early to drive 5+ hours to enter a stupid tournament with like 25bb.
-life tilt ensues as I fire multiple bullets, getting it in ahead as I always do and bust
-pay for a hotel room to stay the night to enter the 150k tourney next day, only to bust end of night and have to drive now 4+hrs home in the wee hours of the night
-lose 2k playing on my phone while driving
-Get it all back playing PPPoker and Ignition the following week
-Continue to demonstrate why I am the best player in the North East

Wow! I can't drive while driving.

Once won $500 on a $20 scratch off. My girlfriend's mom(who was really low on cash) begged me to use it to buy more lotto tickets, so I could win more and let her borrow what she needed(like 2k). I was dumb and told her to cash it and she could buy $50 in lotto tickets and keep whatever she won. She ended up buying $500 worth of $5 and $10 tickets and we only won about $200 from that. Then she wanted to keep that $200 and threw a fit when I wouldn't give it to her. She thought she earned it because she helped scratch the tickets.

One time i was in an airport and started betting on flights with a Texas cattleman I just met. I was down a **** ton of money until i went double or nothing on Ithaca and had David Berkowitz's mail bag down as collateral. I won, but dude realized my buddy stalled the flight and took off. I would've made like 4 grand. What a bummer.
