This guy I worked with gave me good advice about how to avoid gambling. He said he used to be a degen, not on the level of snipes but it was all he did with his free time. The way he stopped was just to work all the time. He worked 2 jobs 6 days a week, not because he needed it but just to prevent him from gambling. Its not what I would want to do personally but someone like snipes is probably going to have to do that anyways once his mommy's money runs out.

The point is, nothing any of us post is going to change his behavior. So mocking and getting excited when a parlay of his loses on the last leg (read: exmatt) serves no purpose.

Back when I use to bet sports I had a 3K line for my weekly limit... I was stuck $2700 going into Sunday (typical) and chasing back my loses hence why I no longer bet on sports zero chill or discipline ever. I decide ehh screw it let's toss in a 4 team MLB parlay with a few dogs I have nothing to lose at this point and I'm getting 20% rakeback so it's almost like a "freeroll"... I use to like to spread the games out bet a couple afternoon games then always finish the parlay off with Sunday night baseball. So I put in a 4 team parlay with 3 dogs (all ML +180, +105, and +105 respectively) and I bet the over 6.5 in Houston/San Diego (Sunday Night baseball -110) ... Long story short it was a 4 team parlay risking $300 to win over $6500... and win back all my loses for the week... Esely games Bang, Bang, Bang 3/3 on all the 3 dogs... no it's upto Sunday night baseball and I have zero credit left to Hedge my wager and the degen in me already had felt like the 3Kwas gone so let's just let this puppy ride.... So I'm doing some shopping with the GF at the time at the local Target when Sunday Night Baseball starts up and my eyes are glued to my phone as I'm failing miserably at hiding the fact that I am clearly gambling on sports... needless to say I'll never forget Top of the 5th inning Padres 3 Houston 2.... Houston hits a LEAD OFF TRIPLE as I'm refreshing my phone thinking LFG baby counting my monies already thinking wow finally going to pull a big one out here... Top 5 runner on 3rd no outs... PASS BALL I'm tracking MLB app allyhe sudden my little yellow box on 3rd base is gone and the score still reads 3-2 Padres 1 out... like seriously 3rd base runner gets thrown out at home on a pass ball... no biggie tons of time left... same batter at the plate still top 5 rips a double and I'm like okay here we go 1 out scoring position 5 runs in first 5 innings we got this... following to batters K, K.... oh boy.... needless to say the following four innings go by 3 of those innings in which either team hit a lead off double and as we all know where this is headed not another single run crossed the plate 3-2 final $6800 swing down the drain and another week of cashing a paycheck and handing it over.... I was once a massive degen betting on everything and anything but in the past nearly 1.5 years now I have not
