Stretch for me I haven’t hit a parlay in a while..and In fact whenever I have posted bets here beforehand they have always lost LOL. Makes it more annoying when people come in and critique the bets.

I am never going to take anybody’s advice on who to bet on. I never have and never will. It’s my money. If I bet on other people’s picks there’s no fun in that. And I sure as hell am not taking recommendations from people who come on here AFTER the parlays are done to tell me how stupid I am.

I hear you, Snipes. Since February I've lost roughly 45k chasing 3+ teamers. Decided I need to step away for a significant period of time and get my priorities straight. I know you struck lightning back in October of last year but the truth is that the home run parlay is a phenomenon that doesn't really exist. Even if you're lucky enough to smash one you'll eventually find yourself in search of another, until you choose that enough is enough and walk away.

Being desperate is ok but you are shooting from the hip snipes. At least in the fall we were late in the season and knew who was tanking and who was pressing and who the bookies had semi bad reads on.

I wholeheartedly agree. Let’s keep in mind my 400k run was a $1500 deposit and all my bets were SINGLES. Heck I needed 50k just to cover a bill for the month and I all in’d 10k on a -300. I was thinking straight. I never have success with parlays because let’s face it..they’re fool’s gold.

I flip flop between parlays with favourites and parlays with games I would bet a flat unit on. That Padres bet I place 10/10 as a single. Is it something you should add in a parlay? Heck no. It’s brutal and the worst part is i see all my flaws. I can’t seem to stop them. I have an even bigger Hail Mary today. Believe t or not I had a winning parlay today in the evening but couldn’t get the bet down. I’ll dig into this when I get out of this mess so it seems

It's very hard for me to start over right now. My networth is in the minus..well unless you add the car. If I stopped up even 10kish it would be a different story.

I thought about stopping when my roll was 40. I didn't. 30 I didn't. And now here we are. I'd say I've lost about 60k now give or take a few k.

It really is a phenomenon and if I keep betting 2k per parlay and do 2 a day..in about 10 days I'll lose another 50k. This is a real bad time and I know it. I hope I escape again.

I understand what thread I am in, but this is just sad. You will never be able to have a friendly small punt in your life. You might as well just stick it all in and be done with it.

The problem, Snipes, is that the hole you're in has been created exclusively by gambling. Hence the reason to step away for awhile. The 45k I lost? I couldn't afford it either. I work a decent job which pays me twice a month. Without gambling I'd live a modest, upper middle class lifestyle. Unfortunately, like you, I'm not able to be satisfied with a simple even keeled existence. I crave the highs and lows. I'd love to be able to chase the 45k back with three teamers, hoping to bang one out, but the truth is I can't. Even just a week away from gambling fueled binges affords you the opportunity to open your eyes and see how desperate and selfish the behavior is. I know you can't walk away at the moment so maybe it's best to do as Natamus mentioned, start betting singles to get some momentum back. At least that way with a few smaller wins you'll be able to cover some of your existing debts, keeping your head afloat. Best of luck man, everyone here is rooting for you(Ex-Matt not withstanding).

With my total debt number around 20-25k now I have almost no liquid cash. I’m also owed $28k by my dad so you can imagine how much I’m sprawling. I got my girl to send me 3k to pay off one of my friends and have around $1k that’s not credit. After busting 3 parlays yesterday worth 2k each I’ve now lost around 60-65k total during this brutal stretch.

I sat there bored so I logged into my friend’s betway and deposited 1k. Sent him the cash. Played BJ like a savage. $200 hands 3 spots with a 1k bankroll. LOL. Got it to 2500 and blasted $500 a hand 3 spots.

16 soft 17 and a 44. Two splits..got 11 on one..double end up with a 16 LOL. Hit the soft 17 can’t double it because no more $.

So I got 5 hands across the table and my best hand is 16. I hit the soft 17 and pulled a 5 lol. Dealer had a 6 by the way. He turns over a 4.now I’m dead. Next card 6. Next card 6. Bust.

Got to 5k and blasted it on the following parlay. So I’m chasing about 65k. This one pays 80.

I was on Snipes side last year when he was in debt before. I gave him the same advice you did after he won 365k or something insane. I told him to bet small on single or 2 game parlays and just grind away. But he let a 2week heater get into his head and he pissed it all away lol.

Sounds less painful than playing online poker imo

What I'm getting at, Ex-Matt, is insulting a guys sports betting ability when he's going through a serious rough stretch and low point serves no purpose.
