I'm still fairly new to this, so this is likely a common occurrence for you cash game players that you've learned to deal with, and I'm sure you've had far worse. This is the first truly rough run in such a condensed space of time that I've experienced. I know beats happen, and getting money in good is only a positive thing, but practically are there ways of coping with this? I'm just annoyed with how well I've been doing and now down so many buy-in's that will take so long to claw back. Do you guys take a break for a day or two. Usually the next day I'm raring to go again, but still feeling this today.

This all happened over a period of 3 or 4 minutes playing on 2 zoom tables. A bit of tilt on hands 4 and 6 but still tough to take.

I'd been dealt AA, KK & AK a total of 12 times throughout the session according to pt4 up to this point, I raise first in each of them, folds back round to me every time, already thinking it's not my night as this seems very unlikely to happen getting no action.

Hand 1: KK vs AA all-in pre. No obvious read to suggest AA. Lose.

Hand 2: As7s. Hero BTN vs BB (known bad player) call his 3B. Flop: J73 rainbow, 1 spade. Villain CBets 33%, I call. River 5s (4 spades). He bets 1/2 pot, I jam. He calls shows KsQs. He is behind vs my pair and drawing dead on his flush vs mine. Run twice. 1st River: Kh, 2nd River: Qc. Lose.

Hand 3: KK vs AA all-in pre. Again, no obvious indication that vs AA. Lose.

Hand 4: QQ vs KA all-in pre. It's a flip I know, ran twice, K on first board, A on second. Lose.

Hand 5: AA vs KK all-in pre. He hits a K. Lose.

Hand 6: QQ. Hero BTN vs SB, he 3Bets, I 4Bet, he calls. Flop Q98 rainbow. He leads 1/3 pot, I jam (no way he calls JT 4B I think) he calls and shows JTo. Lose.

What do you guys do to ease the sting of these sorts of situations? The timeframe of it made it much worse I'm sure.

Downswings will always happen, and they get way-wayyyy worse. One thing that helped me back in the day was never playing with more than 2% of my bankroll. If you've got another 49 bullets then a few losing sessions doesn't feel so bad.

+1 to doing things to relax, especially important to keep it up when times get stressful. I also enjoy yoga, buddy took me to his class a few times and now I do some of the poses at home before my sessions.

Also, don't play online it's rigged.
