The day I discovered a new poker game The day I discovered a new poker game

So I joined this new poker room and saw a poker game I never played: 32 card draw. I was like let's try this so I sat down with 100$. Basicly I thought the rules where the same as 5 card draw.

This hand occured: I got dealt JJ99x and I limped in and I drawed 1 card which was a J. So I had a boat. Someone bet pot, so obviously I potted back over him and it turned out we were both allin. So I was like: SHIP IT!!
Then villian turned over his hand and showed a flush and I laughed!!!! But the pot went to him?! Clearly it's logical a flush is higher than a boat in 32 card, or not?

Beat: Don't know the handrankings in 32 card draw.

5 Card draw variant using a 32 Card deck (card rank 2 - 6 removed). There are 2 betting rounds and 1 discard allowing the player to replace up to 4 or their 5 cards. A 'Parole' option allows a player to ask the table if they want to end the hand and split the pot (start of the 2nd betting round only). If all players agree to 'Parole' the Pot is split between all players in the round, the hand ends and the next hand is dealt. The Ace can be used in a Low-Straight (A-7-8-9-10)

Hand Ranking difference: Flush beats a Full House.

with the reduced deck a flush is harder to draw than a boat

lol reminds me of when i first started playing online. I got up the courage to play a $10 holdem tournament, which was big for me at the time. Except when it started I realized it wasnt holdem. I can't remember the name of the game now, it was some stud variation where 4 straights beat a pair. I had to google the rules and try and figure out what the hell I was doing. I ended up final tabling it, because obv no one knew how to play the game.
