I just finished my first 100,000 hands at 200nl. WR: 9.26bb/100.

I started playing online poker for fun last year, and I've never had any poker coaching, read any poker books, or paid for poker training content. Maybe I just run good?

Had a 2/5 fish get tilted and ask to play headsup 5/10. Played about 100 hands and got coolered for a buy in. Also took a shot at a juicy 4 handed 5/10 game and ran poorly. Even though I had an edge, I learned my lesson: play within my BR.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your location says California. California has the highest income tax rate % in the United States of America. So it might be less than tree fitty but theres hope.

OP, that is really good. You are naturally talented and could be extraordinary some day.

Also, taxes on poker is a *****. There is a 25% tax on your winnings and in addition to that you count it as income tax. So that $23,281.77 that you made is actually only $13,969.06 if you are in the 15% income tax bracket.

This is actually the final straw that finally made me quit aspiring to being a professional poker player. I also binge played 6 tables at 200NL for over 10,000 and we'll just say the results weren't so pretty.
