It's very easy to understand. Alot of people to struggle to put in the hands they need/want to. Whether it's due to the variance in poker, and the effect it has on players pyschologically, or getting up/down a few buy ins early in the session and not wanting to play anymore.
So it doesn't matter how good or bad he is, it's the act of seeing him play 57 thousand hands in one day that motivates them to grind and put in the volume they set out to in the first place.
