even if you succeed and become a red pro, that doesn't help the game of poker at all. the only reason stars would consider giving you that status is because you are literally a model poker player. you grind a ton of hands, produce a ton of rake, and don't play good enough to be busting everyone around you. im sure stars wishes every table was a group of Chirens.
Basically what he said. If you're going to do this atleast make it a prop bet...you'll get a ton of action.

Chiren won't take bets he's already made that clear you artards.

The appropriate thing would be to get side bets lined up on our own. What are the appropriate odds here, 4:1?

If we can manage to get an escrow then and action dealt internally between 2p2'rs then some prop betting can be done.

Dont believe in moving down stakes. Its like plaiyng a heads up $5000 on the first of every month then when you win a buy in you move down to NL10 and fold everything. Either start small then move up or stick at the same stakes. Why not just do the whole thing on NL25. The last 600,000+ hands at NL25 will be stress free fold fold fold fold and wont be poker at all just getting your hand count up.

One millino hands is still a sick grind but jus sayin its a bit cheap moving down once you made a bit of money to keep in profit.

You make a valuable point, the reason i might go down to 25 NL is cause i know i can beat it easily even if i'm tired/unfocused.

Normally i'd be playing on 100NL and switch it with 50NL/25NL if needed since i would just be making more money/vpp's in the same amount of time.

I just give myself more room in case i become braindead at the end of the day, i will actually start playing on 100NL and move down to 50NL and if needed to 25NL depending on how i feel.

I know someone else asked it and i will sustain a positive bb/100 globally. I will make sure this record cannot be trivialized, and i have done all preparations in order to avoid that.

If you have any suggestion or remarks i'm always open to all input.

How do you think you will feel when the record you set is broken shortly after

why are you not taking bets on this? assuming your a lock to do it, would be free money, you no like free money?
Well i planned to do this to raise my chances drastically to achieve pokerstars online pro so i don't have to much time to do this as i think they will announce them them in January/december.

Also who knows maybe i can do a challenge next year where we do something like that, will depend how hard december will be for me.

I already stated the reason why i didn't wanna turn this into a prop bet, but out of curiosity what are the odds people would want to give me in case i'd reconsider it and for how much?

i would say 3.5-1 4-1 would probably be the odds to do it. I understand your reasoning for doing it to help make team pokerstars, its a very good idea

They make people pros that are 0.5BB/100 winners at 100NL? Really? No, really???

its not about winning or losing , its about how many hands you play

I hope Chiren gets pro status after the feat, although I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen.

He started playing on the site < 1 yr ago and it's not like PS issues pro status / sponsorship to anyone. All pros, and not friends, usually have a respectable background / results.

Although 1 million hands a month is quite a feat, it's an achievement that's more dedication driven vs. poker ability.

So, Chiren, don't get too dissappointed if pro status doesn't come instantly, at least you'll hold the record for the most hands played in a month.

GL~
