My friend and I had a prop bet idea I thought I would share here. I don't know if we're actually going to do this because he has an edge seeing as he's unemployed and I'd have to use vacation days from work to do this, so that's not very +EV for me without odds. Maybe we'll work something out eventually.

Anyway, the bet is this. We each get in a friend's car trunk (2 cars, one car each) and all we have is a cell phone and three other chosen items each. So I'm thinking a giant water bottle, pee bottle, and maybe a box of protein bars or something. If you use the cell phone the bet is over and you lose. The friends will use their cars as usual, so you'll be driven all over as they go to work, the grocery store, etc.

How many days would you say the average person can last? I honestly think I could do 5 for the right price/odds.

I forgot to mention another thing we talked about just to add some cruelty to this. If one guy taps out by using his phone, the other guy will not be notified. So you might go like 2 or 3 extra days that you didn't need to because you didn't realize you won the bet.

I think we would keep them turned off until we decide to tap out. Otherwise you could receive texts and calls and that would be some form of entertainment. Phone call and text history will be checked and verified at the end of the bet.

I think it might depend on which friend uses their car the most. Getting driven around would be a lot harder to stand then just chilling in the back of the car in the garage or something.

Well you obviously lose by leaving the trunk, but you'll need to use the phone to let someone know you're tapping out so they can release you.

The night and day temperatures should be fine where we live this time of year. We're not in Vegas or Florida or someplace like that, that would be impossible.

I would be willing to bet serious $$ on this under 1 condition-

Someone handcuffs you and duck tapes your mouth shut and you must last at least 3 days in the trunk.

to avoid any possible bias the drivers shouldn't be aware which one of you will be in their trunk
