If you've made $3m at poker from scratch, congratulations, you've beaten the game. Find something else to do in life and if you really want to play poker in a year's time, play at lower stakes.

I hate having too much money. So much clutter and you don't know where to put your 50k bricks when you are running out of space... I TOTALLY understand Bryce.

I still plan to continue coaching through StoxPoker (I am not accepting any new personal students right now) which may include some "bigger" projects, we'll see. I am also currently helping develop a piece of software that may be of especial interest when released (sorry, no details, only a big teaser ) which should hopefully be ready for commercial release in around 45-60 days.

Also, for all the kind comments: thank you.
Dammit Bryce, you don't have to break limit poker any more than you already have

Bryce can make 200 to 300k per year investing in an index fund and not doing anything for the rest of his life. Far easier than limit poo flinging.

Bryce, how many times did you share/sell your action while playing?

Only twice, both with Dean. The first time I took some of Dean's action when he wanted to take a shot at a player at 200/400 (I was busy with another match, or against the same player on another table, I believe) and then gave Dean some of my action later as a courtesy swap. The second time was after I decided to invest a bunch of money in real estate rather than play 1k/2k, but was taking an opportunity loss by not being able to play Benyamine (which I was ok with). Dean and a friend of his took some action for a session and I racked up a big enough win that I was able to continue to run those limits without backers, and things soon got out of hand.

Dean actually captured some of the backing action in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oR9p_qX4qZM

I've got a load of respect from Bryce, not only because he is a great poker player, but also because of his persona and the way he maps his career.
