After a several.losing sessions and a few bad beats within a couple of minutes I kind of slammed my lap top and broke my screen.

Usually I don't tilt much and keep my cool but not today. I can afford a new one with my winnings but 2nd guessing myself now.

Part of me just wants to cash out and quit online poker just because it is not profitable enough anymore and the games aren't getting any softer, I have been stuck at the same bankroll level for a few months now. Maybe I should take what little money I made and give up, this is just a sign that I.am just not good enough to make money anymore and weak players just simply do not play much online like they did pre black Friday.

...or should I buy another one and continue grinding away at the micro stakes in hope I can get some decent cashes.

It was really a slam or anything, just kind of moved it up and down so the screen flipped back and cracked..did not expect it to happen considering I've dropped it a few times without anything breaking. I was laying on my bed, so it's not like there was anything hard for it to hit.

Tough game, especially when you make great plays only to be smacked by variance over and over.

I've had way worse beats live with much more money involved in live games and just shrugged it off.

I used to break a laptop every week while playing poker.
Kids these days are soft.

Never second guess yourself, confidence is key.

Also dont forget to pay your taxes on the winnings so you can avoid a tax bill. Also a new computer is a business expense deduction.

Good advice. My only requirement is a numeric keypad and decent size screen so I can multi table with ease. I don't need a fancy graphics card or an obscene amount of memory for gaming or any of that since this computer will only be used for poker and the stock market.

Never occurred to me that it could be a write-off, but like where this is going. Makes me wonder if I could write off my room when I go to the Hard Rock in Fort Lauderdale.

Couldn't stay away. Hooked up a projector via hdmi cable. Unfortunately i can get the focus right and only can can play 2 tables.

I bought the most expensive MacBook Pro in order to keep myself from throwing it out the window seems to have worked. I still play bad but the laptop survived any evil intentions on Sundays like 11am-2pm when the Bull shiz comes at ya fast
