Other one was epic 9 handed live. Aces. Hated the situation cuz like 3rd to act. How can I make $$ here? 1/2 live. Raised to 8. Like 6 callers!!! Went to flop 7 way, playing 9 handed! Flop was Q-T-x. Goes bet, raise, call call, THEN me! I "knew" 1 specific person had KJxx, so in essence I had no outs if behind. I folded. Turn was an ace and like 3 people were all-in!! River was an os Ace!! To this day believe it or not I consider it the best "bad fold" I have ever made. I knew one ace was of no value and with the had mega-multi-way I may have had only 2 outs, or none. I would make the same fold again. FYI, the person I "knew" had KJ? She had exactly KJ. 100% accurate read and MADE right play. Being "locked in" mentally in a poker game is the equivalent of nirvana. It's as though you can not only see their hands but the cards to come as well. I have others but the illusive ESP that just sorts of appears out of nowhere, then proof, is gone, is a magical feeling usually reserved for marriage, births, and big lifetime events. I am sure that most pros usually just ride the wave until it is gone(read Mike Matasows book for the Rx way to achieve it.) But nothing else compares.
Posts like this are so stupid.
You *knew* this one person could only have exactly one hand: KJ.
Yeah right, because some ESP appeared out of nowhere.
Wheeeee!!!
