Ok i didn't have the time to read through all this posts but i will impart some thoughts/advice/ideas.

1. You need a contact in his close circle in order to make this even possible.
Let me say that, if this is not possible you have NO CHANCE to get close enough to make this possible. I don't care if you have a barrett .50 cal sniper rifle and a sniper team that could take a shot within 1600 meters. You would never get that close to attempt it without the highest level of intellegence. And trust me, if the .gov can't give enough to his closest confidents to get that info you won't with a peasly 6000.00 USD

2. I just read the first page of the post and from the jist of it you may have a few people that could help you because they are trained in "automatic weapons." That is the biggest line of BS i've heard in my lifetime. You could go to Somalia and pick up some 13yr old on the ghat or whatever dope and if he knows the basic field of arms for an ak47 that has a rusted bore he is trained in automatic weapons. Guess what...if you shoot from the hip and can't maintain accurate fire your 700rpm automatic is useless. What i would advise is that your group at the very least take a tactical carbine course and learn the fundamentals (double tap/hammer etc). The best of the best shoot in semi auto during a firefight at anything except room clearing range. Why? Because you can put more ACCURATE rounds at your opponent and waste a lot less ammo.

3. All of you will need to be fluent is Spanish.

4. How do you plan to get over the border when a drug war is going on in all the border towns? My thoughts are, you would either have to cross through somebody's ranch or go by boat. The ranch route is easiest as far as expenditure of effort/funds, till a rancher fires on your ass cuz he thinks you are gun smugglers. What then? You prepared to kill a US citizen?

5. Your budget outlined at the first part of the post is far insufficent. Guns, ammo, body armor, some money to pay off mexican police and just general survival funds are going to exceed 15k a man

6. My advice. Don't try it. 99.9% chance you will be caught, killed or unseccesfull. However, if I was to try such a ******ed scheme your only real chance is to find a person that was a former high ranking member of the cartel that is on the run and desperate. That would be your only out to accomplish goal #1 and even have a slight possibility of happening. LEave this one to the people in his circle.
