Wouldn't it be better to buy 2 21" monitors at the location, play with them, and sell them off before you leave? The hassle at the airport and the extra luggage costs make it not worth it me thinks.

Why not add to it's mobility, and purchase a battery for your monitor so you can use it on the plane.

I for one think it's pretty awesome. If you can afford it, want it and think it's worth the effort then go for it.
