how people with a brain(obv not op, the douchebag) travel and play poker
step 1: pack clothing only, bring laptop with, in laptop case
step 2: go to airport
step 3: get on plane
step 4: arrive in destination
step 5: go to local best buy, circuit city, etc, etc, even see which has the longest return policy before going
step 6: buy the most ballin ass monitor money can buy at store, don't lose the receipt!
step 7: play poker, make money on laptop plus...ballin ass monitor!
step 8: return monitor, don't forget the receipt!
step 9: go to airport, with only laptop and clothing! get on plane and go home
I agree with one of the posts above, a projector in a carry case is a much better option then carrying around a freakin tv with you. A projector is smaller then a 360 and produce a even bigger picture and many walls, much more convenient imo.
lol fail.. the projector was just an unintentional part of a picture displaying a propper flight case
You flamed a dude for not knowing what a flight case is. But you don't know that Pelican is the industry standard for flight cases????? Look at where they put the wheels on yours! What a design flaw. If you bump anything while you're wheeling that it's going to tip over because of the width/height/weight of the case... Engineering Fail. Did some noob make that for you in his garage? Dude I'm sooo sorry you spent so much money on the case but whoever designed it doesn't know the first thing about the practicality of that wheel/handle design. It was definitely an afterthought.
Now that I have had a look at the two, the Pelican has;
# Watertight, crushproof, and dust proof
# Easy open Double Throw latches
# Open cell core with solid wall design - strong, light weight
# O-ring seal
# Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve
# Fold down handles
# Strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings
# Stainless steel hardware and padlock protectors
# 5-piece foam set
# Personalized nameplate service available
# Lifetime Guarantee of Excellence
# Extra deep stackable cleats
Is yours waterproof? Lifetime warranty?
So I guess it is a beat.... and at $450 it's a double beat...
i love how op was a douche than shut up right as this was posted
Case and monitor come in just under 50 lbs. and you won't get slapped with an overweight fee like you would with that glorified trunk. I fly on allegiant mostly (baller obv) and they only charge $15 each way for checking it (same price as checking 1 regular bag).
