So upsetting, this is really a brag thread for all Americans as over here in the UK that sort of money ($350k) buys you a 2 bed terraced house, or a one bed flat (not top floor) if you wanna live in a city center.

We need more land!

Meh. The market doesn't fall until houses are zero dollars, you know. It has basically bottomed out in most states, though I'm not sure about Nevada. I think any would-be homebuyers who are waiting another year to buy, are being very naive and overly optimistic.

OP pretty much picked the most perfect time to buy property, imo.

lol wtf... i want a house in northern cold Sweden, like nowhere near any bigger capital, and the houses I look at costs more than that and are ****ty in comparison.

To be fair LV is one of the worst real estate markets in the US right now. They had incredible growth in the aughts with a ton of development and a surplus of housing. Then the economic downturn hit the town harder than other locations. All leading to some of the best deals in the country.

Yeah, it's discouraging. People finance their home over 30 years, but for us poker grinders that just seems wrong. We want to pay it now with a fat check or a suitcase full of cash.

Even here in Montreal $350k does not get you anything resembling the house in the OP, from what I've seen. I don't even want to think how much it would be in like Vancouver. 1.5 mill or something?

Housing is cheap in a lot of areas.

This is 3mil around where I live...prob will actualyl sell for like 2.2mil.
