Since i was banned from Live casino poker thread my only alternative is here. The other day i played in a 10k GTD $120 buy in at Borgata. I managed to sqeak past the bubble a spot or two finishing 15th out 140 It payed out 18 spots but 17 to 13 pays the same. Even if i did not cash the entertainment is well worth the price of the buy in. Money is just extra gravy. A fight broke out which is worth the buy in right there.

I was moved to 5 different tables one of which featured a shorter nearly senile version of Bill Cosby with glasses munching on a bag of onion garlic potato chips. I would predict he is 5yrs away from dementia As soon as i was moved to his table his empty bag of chips occupied my seat. I can tell with his actions and mannerisms he already had pissed off the others at the table. One guy who looked like a mobster was staring at him with contempt after the dealer had to remind him to either put in his blinds or when it was his turn to act.
He was shipping pot after pot without any idea of what the hell he was doing. He knew the basics but i think thats where it ended. He would call anything and everything and shove everything and anything and come out on top. Finally after building up a commanding chip lead with 19 players left. He called an all in shove with what had to be close to 275k just around bubble time. He busted out of the money at the bubble. Obviously the variance was on his side but he was clueless as to how to manage his newfound wealth once he received it.
As far as my play overall i am disappointed even though i min cashed . After i realized i was in the money i had around 5BB $5000 $10000 $1000 ante. I waited till i was down to 2BB which at that point were the blinds itself and busted with pocket 4's I just couldnt get a hand worth going in with.
My main problem was the fact that i built up a nice stack early in the tournament but played too tight afterwards trying to preserve my stack fearing the risk factor of busting out late in the tournament. I must learn to constantly put pressure on opponents after you build a comfortable stack so you can make up for the blinds and antes which eventually will eat you up alive in later levels. Im sure most you would agree? Looking for feedback

Ill try to make it short. I would never play at the sh hole again. Yeah i min cashed on those cruddy daily tournaments two days in a row but the bad outweighs the good. I hit the high hand right after i collected the min cash with quad jacks only to be informed by the dealer that the straight flush prior was the high hand with seconds running down. Dealer gives me this bs story "If you held on to you hand a few seconds more you would be high hand and J's would have held up over the new high hand which was quad 5's Total screwjob.

Add insult to injury a few hands later i flop full house with pocket 10's 3 jacks hit the board only to be shown the bad news with AJ I stormed out but still not learning my lesson. I played a 5k GTD today . Cannot tell you how many times i was dealt crap 2hrs straight. I must have set a record being dealt K 5off at least 10 times and 3 consecutive times to boot. When i actually did hit a hand pocket Q's went all in with remaining 10k, this loudmouth who was running over the table consistently dealt over card after over card especially K's and Aces' calls my shove with KQ pulls a K on the turn i slammed the table walked off. Then i just had to play cash to alleviate the pain. They seat me at table with the same ass who was staring at me two night eariler Oh no not in the tilt mode im in i might just take a swing at him so i requested a move even before i was dealt a hand Then i requested a second table change table after i had about enough of K5's which was the same hands i was dealt in the tournament Talk about bad karma The dealer then berates me for flashing the hand after i folded "ont do that again"while a few of the jerks at the table agreed with him I said F u its my money that's funding the casino ill do as i please Requested a third and final table change with my last $60 A10 suited OOP One guy raises to $17 two callers a shove of $100 two more callers I shoved my remaining $43 another shove follows . Multiway Dealer took forever to flop A 10 4 dont remember the other cards All i know is one of the shovers flipped over pocket 10's won the majority of the pot To add more insult to injury i was charged $5 for parking this after the floor guy informed me a day prior that free parking for month of July. I cursed out the parking attendent and drove home in the pouring rain Never again done with Borgata done with Poker You need a lot of money to gamble and i dont have it Gonna chill from now and and maybe play $1 daily number from here on in

Stay home & learn to knit, embroider, cook or paint cat portraits - anything that will chill you out. While you're home the rest of the world will be a slightly happier place.

So if I'm reading this correctly, you thought you had the high hand but the last high hand was still active, and if you had stalled a little it would have counted for the new time period, and would have held up? Where's the screwjob?

The screwjob was the dealer informed me after the fact . Personally i hate the $1 $2 table because i see the same cheap freeloaders playing there with $300 stacks they bought in with and didnt earn at the table yet they rarely make a dent in hoping they hang around long enough to hit the high hand or the bad beat jackpot which by the way was hit last nigh by someone at $10 $20 limit table which made my night even worse
