Meh - I have no issue with him starting over again... It's still a hell of a feat to go from $5 to $100k, regardless of how many times you load up $5. (Starting with $50 is a little different, obv).

I thought the original post, however, talked to having to rely on freerolls in case of busto, though, so I'm a little confused about the 'rules'.

But hey - this isn't a prop bet - it's a challenge. You want to start over, fill your boots...

Allowing him to reload is a little surprising, but it seems more fair than requiring him to win the money in the VIP freerolls. Anyone can reload another $5 if they go broke, but not anyone can play in a $75k supernova freeroll with a $12k first prize. It's much better he just resets than play one tournament a week until he has a $100+ score and is able to play the $1.10s again.

Why would anybody buy playchips for?

Option 2: ban him for breaking TOS and selling play money chips. OBV he has done this in the past.

Option 3: Stop the ridiculous practice of selective enforcement of TOS on this issue. Allow people to buy and sell Play money chips without fear.



Whatever option you choose realize that reloads were not mentioned prior to the beginning so the challenge is a fail. The best he can do now is say he did it the second time.

Boku mentioned selling play money and scotty mentioned freerolls.

Yes I'm aware this is july and he wont make SNE in 6 months. I'm just saying anyone who has made SNE without going bust has essentially done this challenge. The only difference is they probably start with a roll, but that should only take someone with boku's skills 2 months or so to build up.

The 'easy' way to do it would be to play 100nl - 600nl cash trying to maximize winrate, as opposed to fpp proing.

I also find it hard to believe that you have been playing professionally for 7 years and dont make 6 figures. What games do you play and at what level?

For a 200nl grinder averaging $100/hr(a reasonable rate for a good 200nl reg), it would only take 1000 hours, or 2.7 hours a day. And thats not including bonuses. Hardly a huge commitment.
