We get snow in the mountains but almost never where I live. It's more common in the South Island. NZ has mild winters compared to most of the world. How's the american summer?
06-14-2017 , 04:42 PM
Depends. Phoenix AZ and Palm Springs CA can get up to 120°F (49° C). Here in New England it's usually 78°F-100°F (26°C-38°C) and humid, so generally sucky.

Everything but price works there. For 500k you get some old shed a million miles from the ocean.

Plus paying extra taxes sucks balls.

I've heard good things about North Carolina
06-14-2017 , 08:18 PM
At the moment the thoughts are...

1) Somewhere in Florida on the ocean. Weather is good, though hot in summer. House prices aren't too bad, though do get expensive as you get near/on the water.
2) Sarasota coast area (NC/SC) - Weather is decent, though gets cold in the winter. Prices a bit better than Florida
3) ?

Both areas work b/c of you being of the Whites.

Those areas don't vibe as well for me and my interracial relationship :P

I remember doing a house sit for someone in Florida once. Old lady. She said not to go past 33rd street, as that's where the blacks live. I told her "I think we'll be okay".

She had Fox news on all day (just as a back ground noise).

Nice house but!

Morph what is this holiday? Thursday is a random day for a public holiday

SoCal is obv but as you stated the $ is insane.

Parts of Florida will fit the bill and it doesn't get too hot (not as bad as texas at least ime). Check out Victoria park in Fort Lauderdale. I have really taken a liking to SoFlorida since being here, but there are a lot of scummy areas.

The Carolinas are actually your best bet based on what you said, but i personally have never been a fan.

Also, when you say weather what are your parameters? Everything being said is more tropical, but there are other options.
