i was hoping this thread would be a bunch of blewjob talking **** and showing the hands where some insane bluffs worked or something, instead he's all respectful and reverential, which is severely disappointing imo

You happen to take a shot at 5kNL+ HU just when Krantz is playing and haven't really played higher than you were previously, yet you made 100k+.
Your rakeback just happened to ask you to take screenshots at the same time.
Your blog is on the same rakeback site, and the first post is the day after the 1st episode of the show.
Krantz has already stated the show put feelers out to find people to play.

It seems to me it was a planned stunt to launch you and your mates rakeback site, you and 1 other guy are the only members on the site.
And I bet you would be surprised then if I said that I've been felted by Durrrr over a year ago playing the nosebleeds. Yet this too is true.

As is the case with most serious players, I am rolled on more than one site and have been playing $25/$50 for some time before I even ever heard of the TV show. Maybe I'm not so well known because I sometimes prefer the less popular sites like Carbon Poker. I simply just play where I get action and I'm feeling comfortable.

You can confirm with anyone, and I mean literally anyone, that I am not affiliated with 2M2MM in any way whatsoever. It really is all just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Don't you think it would be reasonable to assume that if VIPRakeback was planning a launch with 2M2MM they'd have their updated/renovated/improved site w/ all their new promotions already ready pre-launch of the show? Had they known, they would have had their new updated site online by now. My blog is hosted on their new community which shows only 2 members because they had to hurry and roll out that addition to their new site early as to benefit from my (flash-in-the-pan) notoriety. Kudos for them for thinking on their feet and being action oriented.

In the very near future (perhaps even as early as today) I will post a few more hand histories here and even more on my blog. It does all seem wayyy to coinicidential doesn't it? I can understand where you're coming from... Guess who was one of the first people to contact me after the show first aired...? You guessed it, VIPRB.

If you guys have some questions about my match w/ Krantz or about my story (as we all know the grind is not always easy... and I've had my own struggles too) I'll do my best to keep up with this thread and answer questions. If I feel the question (or accusation) is inappropriate, I supposed you can expect to be ignored. You'd all like to see more screenshots and/or Hand Histories? I'll try to dig through some HH's that make me look like a genius AND like a complete noob - I like to be realistic... because I know we all are capable of the amazing and the amazingly stupid haha.

to be fair, troy gamble is somewhat right-- BLEWJOB was portrayed as a luckbox clown on the show.

Note: this is nothing personal with invictus, I'm just sharing my impression of this scene.

There was so much to put in episode 1, and all in 22 minutes. They had to decide what to cut and what to keep for the sequence. Let's think about that, and other basic themes that will occur in a show of this type...

- Any opponent of the 4 Heroes has to be represented as Villain.
- The coolers they're gonna show are the ones where the Hero gets cooled.
- The opponents are not present and can't exactly rebut anything that is said by the Heroes or implied by the editing.
- Krantz was down at first but turned things around to end the match well.

So really due to how it all went down, there was no way for them to cover the highlights of the Blewjob HU play without it seeming like

- Blewjob was winning primarily due to luck, and also
- Krantz won it all back primarily due to discovering a tell

The rest of the story, including Blew getting coolered, and a more in-depth analysis other than "sick beat" "hey i just found a tell on this guy", was irrelevant due to scope and time considerations. Please consider what the production team's job is before you assume a HU 10kNL player is a fish, and watch the Weather Channel if you want to see a show that isn't biased towards the viewpoint of a protagonist.

Hi FastMotion

I been playing poker online for about 5 years now (3 professionally). I started with a $300 deposit on AP playing 10c/25c 6 max games. Then I ran it up to about $10,000 over the course of year – always maintaining a minimum of 20 buy-ins before moving up to higher stakes. I did not read a single book or get training from other players, I knew the fundamentals and simply put in the hands. From there I cashed out and then rubbed it on my... never mind.

So I cashed some out and eventually deposited on Bodog. After about another year later, I turned that $500 into $30,000 and once again cashed it. Now at this point I had discovered rakeback and was playing on 2 other sites, all along transferring my rakeback to Cake where I eventually nurtured that roll into 6 figures. Nevertheless, those days, of course, were the GLORY DAYS. From this point on I never looked back. Since then I have had my share of set-backs to get to where I am.

Anyways, I transitioned my game to heads up because I noticed that that was what the top players were doing. I figured it must be profitable and so far it has been. I’ll play $5/$10 - $20/$50NL HU (rarely $50/$100NL). Frankly I don’t really have much desire to bing blang blaow anyone higher than that.

At first I was like ok that is severely messed up. But in retrospect Krantz pointed out my tells... now I know them... now people think they know my tells... now everyone will be because I know you think you know my tells and that you know that I know my tells and that I know you know my tells... therefore my tells are no longer tells but weapons.

TBH, when I first saw the show I was pissed that KRANTZ seemed to be getting luckboxed left and right, and I had a severe hatred for this BLEWJOB kid.

But... he seems like a kinda cool guy. So props I guess. I look forward to future episodes.

You couldn't come off as a more deserving guy right now... Of course its a forum and who knows what you are like in real life but you've earned my benefit of the doubt. Not at all. Congrats on your success. I'm sure you earned it. Great name too.

I'm sure training sites are fighting over you from this?

Regardless congrats!
