That one time when I was living in a dorm and I woke up in the middle of the night (like 3am) because I had to pee. I woke up my GF in the process, which led to sex, after which I really needed to pee. So I entered the community toilets only seconds after climaxing, where for some reason two guys where already peeing. I joined them, and after some awkward silence one guy asked:

I think except both of them not being part of the main-stream cinema, they have not much in common. E.g. Fassbinder came from theatre (which von Trier never did afaik), he adapted classic material like Fontane's Effie Briest (von Trier basically writes all his scripts, right?), and overall did more realistic cinema with socially relevant topics, where von Trier meddles with the absurd and fantastic (like in Idiots, Kingdom, or Antichrist). Their cinematic language might have some commonalities though.

I did not do classical ee, more design methodology for it, or for systems in general.

So it wasn't that big a step in the sense that I had to pick up all the stuff an ee student would have to learn.

Dunno I don't find banning as exciting as other mods seem to; I think I only banned two posters (apart from the occasional OTCB) since I was modded about a year ago. I guess banning David Sklansky could be fun; when do you have the opportunity to ban someone who's authored a book you own?

Of course it does. The results of the US elections affect so much people outside the US that I sometimes think the RoW should have some say in this lol. Not gonna politarding here but the state of political culture in the US atm is troublesome.

Just out of convenience. It's the German equivalent for Morphism (ok it's Latin, but w/e), and unless you have a background in math or similar it's unlikely you even know the word. Therefore the handle is almost always free, and I actually used it a lot.
