Look at all the high profile players caught of cheating. This is proof. Poker is scum bags. It is common sense. They are too lazy to work or have got fired for shady things.

Look, it's a game that has no value other than taking someone's money to gain. Entertainment angle is bs mostly. Sometimes the entertainment is to wreck people, so good times and good people.

I disagree with the OP. I see Poker as a microcosm of life. In my 25 years of playing I have been able to use as a tool to learn emotional reaction control, financial acumen, patience, grace and the ability to not attach myself to an outcome. The best thing about Poker is that you can simulate life exponentially faster and learn from your mistakes and play out different scenarios.

Yes you can but it takes a lot longer to learn. Because of the nature of the technology available to simulate scenarios which you couldn't encounter in a lifetime in real life.

Poker is rigged. Non-tipped dealers beat me up in the parking lot. Waited 8 hours for aces, he cracked me with 48 suited; all-in preflop.

Ok let me provide actual proof of scumbags in poker.

Yesterday this happened at the casino:

Action player goes missing for 1.5 hours and half the table wants him picked up and the other half is fine w breaking the rules.

They pick him up. He comes back 5 mins later. Talks to room head and is back at our table once a seat opens and despite there being a must move.

Chaos ensues when someone points the rules and gets him bounced from our table. The bad regs are pissed at this one particular bad reg. They even corner him into why do you care?

Most poker players see money and don’t care about protecting the integrity of the game.
