What happened, short version.
I was upstairs and writing one of my posts to tell that I won the bet. Suddenly a smoke came in my room and I went down stairs to see what is going on. When a was half way down I saw a lot of flames and my roomies tried to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher, but the fire was so big and it didnt work. The fire began to conquer other rooms and the stairs, so we decides to grab everything we can and to leave. Everything happened in a matter of seconds (or i think so).
When we was out the police and firemans came, but it was a little bit late. dunno who call them, maybe the neighbors.
After that guys from the insurance company and some firemans secure the rest of the house, by secure I mean they put some bands around the house. Then we arrive at the "hotel".

The problem is that I was the only one who lived upstairs and my stuff are ok, or at least this which I took with me. But my friends credit cards are gonne. From the heat they melted, not at all but cant work with the ATMs.

The other problem is that when we left the "hotel" at the morning, we went to a normal hotel and tried to check in, but beacause my roomies's passports burned aslo, only I have one, they do not want to check us in. They have to go to London to take new ones, but I am the only one one with credit card. I pretty much reached the limit and have to wait till the end of the month.

Also I am playing more for fun it's not my income. I am a student, my parents give me not a lot, but good money every month.

oh michael's friend, you so crazy! setting fire to your house and then laughing about it on an internet forum, but i understand, its only a house. pretty disappointed that you waited for the firemen to leave before taking pictures though, i'm sure most people would have took a few snaps there and then but oh well.

also, i'm impressed that you managed to get all your belongings out whilst your house is burning down all around you. maybe you should have devoted less time to carrying your computer out of the house and more to actually putting out the fire. unless it was too big to handle. in which case, why are you carrying your ****ing computer out of a blazing inferno?

this story is completely ridiculous and thats even without touching on the OP betting his entire 10NL roll (100 BI's ftw) on being able to drink 70 beers in 24 hours.

We didnt get all our belongings. I took only my passport, some uni stuffs, ciggarettes, things like this and my computer. Of course i'll get my laptop, thats the most important thing. It is more important tham my passport, everything is there.

Don't try to explain yourself, its pointless, i missed all this house burning (which is f up and not funny at all) and ppl accusing you that its fake, and cant be bothered to go through it, but i believe you wouldnt lie about something like that and hope you and your friends find a new place to live soon and there is not much trouble with fire aftermath, insurance etc.
