Back to the result, you want to stimulate that it will be reversed, in this case: that the money will be returned. How is any of this going to do that?
It doesn't matter whether or not it can be replaced. Technically, any stolen current currency can be replaced. Go rob a bank and tell them afterwards that the money can be replaced, tell the judge that, and then tell them that the public shouldn't be aware that you're a bank robber.

The difference is that so far it's still up to his relative free will to pay the money back. This thread is the main thing that is causing him distress over it, and getting rid of it is the main thing that would motivate him to pay back, which is coincidentally the main purpose of this thread also. If this went to court and he were forced to pay, obviously noone would want this thread modified.

Because he might do the same thing to someone else in future, if his name was deleted they wouldn't be aware that he has a history of this sort of thing.

If he paid up then there is nothing more to add to this thread and it will gradually drop down the forum.

S.P. - do you think that the money should be repaid asap ?

what u say is quite interesting, cause a lot more got into this, like: wikipedia pages, google results etc. also, a lot of people have alrdy stated that this is NOT about the money, but about the fact that this even took place, the 3k doesn't matter (the amount seems to be insignificant to some people, I guess these are the people u call ''balla'' on these forums).
so what I'm trying to say is, if the money would be transferred after all, would all of this be undone, in other words: any reason why I would pay back the money after all of this? (except for ''doing the right thing'' of course).
IMO everyone deserves a second chance, that means: if the money is to be transferred back into the account, there should be no hard feelings, no google results....
FYP

Now, pay the money back, Brett.

the word is: stigma....and of course do I think the money should be paid back asap, all I'm saying is that all of this is not going to smoothen things out, what do you think?

I think it ain't ever going away and the only chance it will is if the money is returned.

People who commit crimes should be punished. After rejecting the opportunity to pay back the money Brett tried to swerve the responsibility, this is his punishment. Maybe not what he was expecting but that's his fault and his alone.

If it was me, I would repay and let it all die down eventually.

And to be perfectly honest, he is lucky that the person he scammed wasn't some mobbed-up poker player, otherwise he would be waking up with body parts missing.

Huh? Mozilla and Opera are different browsers.

Anyway.. google (and wikipedia) do ajax lookups for autocomplete. For example, type "assho" and see what comes up

Thanks for the heads-up, Brett. Clearly, this whole thing has stressed you out so much that you've read every post in the thread.

So Brett is ITT campaigning to have the thread deleted once he pays the stolen money back. What a weasel.

I am sure that honest 2+2ers would rather that the thread becomes a classic and stays forever leaving Brett's name all over the interwebs for future bosses, girlfriends and associates to see.

As for the money stolen, I think 2+2ers would each chip in a small amount to keep the thread alive and Brett the thief can keep the dirty money and all that bad karma that is attached to it.

$50 pledge from my $2k roll.

FU Brett Mrozowski - thief.

I'd appreciate it if a mod could edit the first post to include something about my story. Could just quote this:

Brett owes me 1k too. He owed me for coaching for a while, and I completely forgot about it. This thread reminded me, so I PMed him about it. He instaresponded asking how much he owes. I replied saying it was $1k on July 2nd, and I haven't heard from him since.

man brett must suck quite a lot if he is losing at 50nl. for a poker player who won 60k playing 1/2 id assume it woulld be easy to grind night and day, make 5k and pay pokerbot back with a bit left to play 100nl. how did he win so much before and lose so much now? is it because he was playing a year ago and on absolute where games are really soft?

also brett, as reefy said: FYL

no way the games got that much tougher so a very good 1/2 winning player player from 1 year ago can't beat 50nl anymore today. especially since he tries to improve his game with his 2 coaches and his DC membership.

my guess would be that brett has some things on his mind and can't really focus on poker anymore. it would be the same for me when i would have done something like that.

Not the way he's going about it.

Why not use his usual account?

Why not pay back the money and then try to have the thread removed?

Brett is only going to do what he should if he gets a payback - he is still a selfish snake.

Brett hasn't learned anything from this and he deserves to have his name all over google.

If he was remorseful in any way he'd have paid Pokerbot back by now. He obviously has the money or he wouldn't be talking about it.
