Hell yeah, if you can use your time wisely I thnk it's a great opportunity. You just have to accept that you are going to experience some discomfort and give up soem fo the freedoms that you are used to. Some people cannot do that, and I understand why. In here there's no stepping outside whenever you like to feel the sun on your back, no playing with your kids or pets, no waking up next to your loved one. There's needles and hassles and roomates that fart and snore and keep you up at night and nurses that take your blood while you sleep so that vampires interrupt your dreams

Because of my initial reaction to this drug (pulse rate dropping low), I have to wear a telemetry device from morning till night. This device sends signals to a nearby computer on this floor that monitors my vitals. Unfortunately, because of the limited range between telemetry and the computer, I was not allowed to accompany the rest of my group on their excursion today They were all taken on a field trip and I'm stuck here - that's the second time since I've been here! Yeah, I was partially trolling. I've never heard of a particular dislike of any of those nationalities in the UK so I went with it. Your question interests me too; I've never gone looking for a clinical trial but at least some advertise in classifieds of major newspapers. Curious how OP found what I would call a major trial (most of what I've seen in classifieds I would call minor trials, smaller scale, lower offered value or none printed).

I don't mean to be rude and it's none of my business to tell what to do to people but I think instead of sending some money to OP you could help someone starving or really need the money for her/his health.

OP, If I were in your shoes, I would never play poker until I find a job. You have uncertain future and 8k is not much money. Try to resist "I need to play" feeling. I would feel awful if I knew my opponent is playing with his last savings and has to do such things with his health once he loses. I hope your back get well soon and never forget this experience for your entire life. I wish you, strength and great patience for the rest of your hospital days.
