Was playing 1/2 NL last night, max buyin 200. I'd worked my stack up to about $600 before I went to take a ****. Unfortunately, I ended up having to make a few phone calls for work and by the time I got back, my seat had been taken and I was put on the waitlist. Because it took over an hour for me to get a seat, they made me sit back down with only $200 which was super annoying because everyone was sitting with around 4-500 and in general people suck at poker.

So, between hands I decided to start putting some green chips (25$) in front of my stack. I made sure to keep them in front of my reds so that no one would be misled about how deep I was playing, but eventually the floorman came over and said I was cheating and angle shooting blah blah. The table said they didn't mind as I wasn't taking chips OFF the table, but the floorman said he saw me going south earlier in the night, when I took 50$ in chips out of my POCKET and gave it to a friend at a DIFFERENT table to settle a bet. A different floorman came over and corrected this moron, but eventually he told me I had to leave the table because I'd been warned about this before (???) and it was against table policy.

Yes I was stupid for using greens as they were more conspicuous but I was pissed off that I had to sit back in with only $200 after playing 7 hours already.

Most places you can only be gone for 30minutes. I hate inconsiderate people like OP who will leave the table for long stretches and then be surprised when they are picked up.
