But when I miss a deadline or get into a fight with a family member I make/miss moves that clearly lead to -EV poker. Sometimes it's a squeeze reshove punt. Sometimes it's an extremely weak-right passive game that leads to bleeding away the tournament. Some of my most stable and largest upswings happened while I was in a steady relationship with a girl who really loved me (mind you I haven't been really lucky with girls most of my life).

Also, the deeper I am in a tourney (the more at stake) the better I play. One time I went all in 4 times in a row with rags from EP and squeezed into 4 players with 10-5 suited. It may have looked like a spaz but I was so focused I had remembered how tight I had been up until that time and how the players involved in the hand won't call my shove unless they hold top 3% of hands. I had the perfect focuse and a sharp read. I'm glad I banned myself from those horrible casinos. Best decisions ever, life had improved. Not because of lack of gambling but lack of LOSING POKER that kept on happening because of the negativity surrounding those card rooms.
I'll remove all the bull**** and FYP maybe I can help instead of being negative you're right.....

What was a joke PLO or hold em?

I look at it this way you are given 20 to 25k in tournament chips sometimes 30k It is your job to make the most of those chips or find a way to utilize them to the best of your ability. If your gonna bitch and complain i got sucked out this guy hit a runner runner im getting dealt bad cards blah blah, its part of the game you chose to get involved in for that moment or maybe your entire life . If you bust take it like a man and walk out. I certainly wont say nice game guys after i bust unless i bust in the money. Why should i give anyone their props ? Proper etiquette my ass they just took my chips. One thing i certainly wont do which is beyond belief is making sure i had enough chips to cover myself after i got busted. I actually saw someone literally count out his chips and hand it to his opponent after he busted doing job of the dealer I couldnt believe my eyes. What the f was the logic or purpose in that? Dealers job not yours . You lost ,get the f out what do you care if you had enough chips to cover yourself after the fact Geeeez get a life

The last time i played Bingo was 1967 at Shady Nook Bungalow colony in Fallsburg NY. I was 7yrs old and my older cousin who took me to the Bingo room was jealous that i won $1.50 . Needless to say i blew it all on the pinball machine giving half my winnings to a 7 yr old girl whom i thought was interested in me but actually wanted my money to play pinball

Ive played poker a long time and definitely the first few years it felt like its a pretty fun game, I still can consistently win money at it when I stay focused on it, but especially now that online is gone, it does seem like work, similar to getting up and going to a job, put in your hours, get your pay, except sometimes you lose too. It becomes draining mentally to travel to a casino, sit there and fold the bad hands, watch the players for tells and betting patterns, wait for good spots, finally get the chips. Occasionally get sucked out on bad or lose coin flips, over and over again. I don't see why all these retired guys love to sit there all day, the way i see it is if i was retired and had the time and money, I wouldn't want to sit in live poker everyday, but rather travel, other hobbies, etc. If it your income thats cool, but as far as a really fun night, poker just isn't that fun to me anymore either. Anything over and over repetitive gets old.

I notice too when i get bored i ene up losing chips out of boredom when i know better. In live poker, patience, positive attitude towards playing the game, and not tilting are so important, but that makes it even less fun sometimes to just watch others play and fold. I always had more "fun" buying into blackjack or baccarat for $1000 and firing away $100 a hand, but the financial side of it favors poker quite a bit. My advice for you OP is not to keep playing or focusing your mind on it, get a girlfriend and other life outside of poker. Most girls arent that into poker, its all guys mainly, just go a couple times a month and have a good life outside of it. Get a career going. Become a doctor or something challenging and interesting where you will make more than all but the top pros in poker with 0 variance. And when your a cardiologist and want to play poker, you can buy into 5/10 without sweating your "bankroll" a buyin will be a days work instead of a weeks.

Its not so much boredom but intimidation factor especially when playing series l tournaments . If you happen to get a very aggressive table that makes it even harder because you have to work harder to keep pace . Sometimes they last as long as 15hrs with a starting time of 11am. If you happen to make it into the money that prob wont occur until 2hrs after dinner break which is around 8 or 9pm . They normally draw huge crowds and the player pool for some of those events even the $200 buy in with 50k GTD can reach as high as 3 to 400 entries or more . . Even though they provide you with 30 to 50k in chips sometimes, it still doesnt help. I feel like im closed in at times. If i have to navigate through a huge field i i tend to lose confidence realizing i will need to have alot of luck on my side to make it past the bubble . I am sure i am not the only one that feels this way. Most will bust before the rebuy are closed which has its advantages and disadvantages.

Lets say you make up your mind to fire 3 bullets in a $230 deepstack . $660. you know for a fact $$660 is usually min cash in these seasonol events and you have 3 strikes or 3 fighting chance Another advantage is you can take more risks in the early levels knowing you can fire two more if you bust the first time . One is usually enough . The goal is chip up and not rebuy at all. The disadvantage is accomplishing these goals before Level 8 which is usually around the time rebuys close. If you manage to double or triple up in the early stages of the tournament then rebuys become a non issue. From a personal standpoint as well as financial status, i would only rebuy 2 or 3x if the tournament buy in is within the $200 range. When you get to the $340 $580 and above range, they can kiss my ass . That will be the day i rebuy into a $580 or above tournament unless i happen to run into some big money down the line

I imagine you'd take this with a grain of salt OP (if you are in fact serious), but this is closest to the best response you've gotten. Sufferers of BPD are generally notorious for their impatience.

People with this disorder can be set off by the littlest thing when it is particularly bad (such as when under a great deal of stress), because they're experiencing so much emotional pain that they can not appropriately deal with any additional pain or discomfort.

Speaking from firsthand experience, you need to see a mental health professional regularly before it ruins your life.

Even if I had BPD, there is more stigma and judgement than help and treatment.
