I've been playing poker long enough to know that **** happens, but I just need to vent.
$200+$20 live tourney. 80 players.
5th hand in, still have my 5000 chips except for the 50 chip BB I just paid. I get dealt A
K in the BB. CO raises to 300. I call.
Flop 1094. I check. He bets 700, I call. Turn, 5
. I check. He bets 1000. I raise to 2000, he shoves. Of course I insta-call. He turns over a pair of nines and prays for the boat.
River: 9
"I got quaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaads!!!!" he announces to the room.
Tourney started at 11:00. 11:15 and I'm done. No one says anything to me, but the guys to my left and right anxiously wait for me to leave so they can have more leg-room.
The end.

fwiw I got eliminated of my last live tourney, the very first hand, with a flopped nutflush from the BB against a set, money went all in on the turn, villain rivered the boat :/ Didn't look if the two players around me seemed to enjoy the extra leg-room.
