Hi...I know i never post here, but i have frequented these forums for a while, but just never made an account till recently. This will be my last post however. Im finished with poker now...variance got me in the end, and its making me want to smash things right now.

I started playing November 09...didnt go onling till around March '10. I was a complete fish, didnt understand the game really apart from the fact AA was the ****, and was calling down no matter what the board looked like.

I was a losing player for a while, so i decided to get some books...the standard HOH, Super system and many other books on tournament, cash and SNG.

I got good from reading them, and started beating the $2 and $5 SNG...and a few 90/180 man tournaments.

Since then I have ammased thousands in winnings. Close to 20k, some if was lost in dumb ass heads up matches for 1k, but oh well.

I used most of my winnings for random crap like petrol (gas), food, going out and buying new things.

Iv'e recently gone on a horrific swing, losing to runner runner, sets not holding up almost 100% of the time. I will admit I was playing slightly above my bankroll. But still cant believe the luck I have had recently.

Its soul crushing.

I had a good time on FTP and PS after transferng to cash games...I beat 50nl, 100nl. along with 1/2 up to 5/10 limit Holdem.

i dabbled a bit in PLO and seven stud, but didnt have the theorectical grounding to consistently win.

Peak: winning 1K in a day
Beat: losing 3k tilting then losing 2k more...now selling all poker books, and deleting all apps from PC and laptop.

However I am going to vegas soon...so might play just a little bit

I think when you go to Vegas you will find self control and become a winning and sustainable player.
