Cheers mother ****ers! Being the dumb ass I am I decided to ship my car across the United States of America (Vegas-->Boston) with an auto shipping company. I called up company A and the guy is like, "Sure, sure, we can ship your car, no problem. We'll get it there in 4-7 days". I'm pretty down with this so when the company comes and gets my car I give em the keys in return for some ****ty ass piece of paper with the order number, etc on it. Little did I know they were going to sell off the moving job to another company who I will call Shady Scumbags.

I get a call two days later when I am already relocated to the East Coast, telling me that they have sold the job to Shady Scumbags and I should contact them for further information. A week goes buy and Shady Scumbags has not delivered my vehicle.

I am feeling pretty unfortunate here so I call Shady Scumbags and ask whats up. Four days in a row the guy tells me that It will be there today. On the fifth day he ignores and refuses to return my calls. Finally I call my insurance and they tell me I should report the vehicle stolen. So I call the guy back telling him that I have to report the vehicle stolen unless he calls me back immediately letting me know whats up.

Unfortunately, I do not get a call from him, but from another shady business ass ***** named Todd. Todd informs me that he has my address and that if I file a police report he will be calling an end to my life. I'm obviously pretty shaken up so I decide to get really drunk and post in BBV for advice. Whats my play here folks?

edit: for reals though, you're in a pretty tough situation. try to assess how serious the death threat was, then make an executive decision, good luck, i think you have to report it because cars are big and

Tough spot man, seriously. I am having a hard time imagining what I would do. I highly doubt he is going to hire a hit on you, like seriously he isn't, but even if there is a 1% chance he would its too risky. I would possibly try to record the next phone conversation or somehow get to the top of company. I might check into taking legal action against the other company as well. I would probably call the police and ask them what to do.

Go to the local gunshop, get yourself a smith & wesson 460 xvr magnum..call his punk ass up and tell him, "hey mother****er, either you drop off my car right now, or I go get it myself which i promise you if i do have to go down their I'll personally gut you like the pos you are, break your eye socket with the claw of a small hammer and then shoot both of your knee caps..your choice, what's it going to be?"

I'm not too sure about what to do, but you had better hope "***** ass death threats" Todd doesn't stumble across this thread.

Here is more to the story..

Criminals stole OP's care, these same criminals steal many cars, sometimes when someone threatens to report them to the police, they make a death threat, when people get scared about death threats, they act silly and wait before calling the police, this waiting time is crucial for the criminals to get the car out of the country or into pieces.

time is not on your side op.
