BS.
Becoming overweight is the result of eating more calories than your body burns.
Someone with "lower metabolism" simply needs to EAT LESS, or more correctly, eat a diet that provides what their body needs in terms of nutrients, and eliminate un needed calories.
PERIOD.
From an endocrinologist:
Quote:
It is well known that several endocrine gland disorders are associated with obesity. I chose the term “associated” rather than “cause” since obesity can be prevented no matter what, if the individual’s caloric intake is equal to or less than caloric expenditure.

Obesity is not a disease, it is a CONDITION caused by eating more calories than the body needs. No one is forcing food down the pie hole of a fatbody - if they are overweight it is because they are not burning off the calories that they are ingesting. It is AS SIMPLE AS THAT.
If someone is fat, it is because they are not interested in expending the time and effort to NOT be fat.
