Afterwards, a new protocol was developed by the company NEVER to say anything negative about any customers in internal e-mail. Howard could learn a lot from that.
Common sense FTW.

Wish I'd been able to make it to Canterbury during the Fall tourney. I planned on making you get Gobbomom on the phone for a Mom conference call.

Laugh it off and go win some moneys.

LOL @ photoshops.

Also, re: harsh interviews. Honestly it was all blown out of proportion, since most of the interviews that you'll read had nothing regarding what people say I said and only one or two would have me saying anything bad whatsoever. The worst thing I said was "most tv pros suck and aren't even winning players." People have taken that and told other people about it and honestly I doubt 80% of the people who say [censored] about me for it have even read it for themselves. I challenge you to find one.

Combined with the Bluff scandal that occurred in their Aussie Millions issue (they basically called me ugly), it seems like I don't attract the good kind of journalism and it's kind of pathetic that it's true just because I'm a fatass.

I think the thing that annoys me about this the most is that we have Howard Lederer, the poker pro turned businessmen who shows. Hey, I think you were already aware that I was a tremendously overrated poker player, I bet you didnt think I could be a mediocre businessman and make money too!

Note: I am not saying the gobbo rejection is a horrible business decision, I am saying that most of the other hires in their team have been horrible decisions. Like, man we had better hire karina jett or eric froelich, karina is such a great player and eric is totally great for our marketing image. Full tilt is just another one of those companies that were in the right place at the right time and their success has little to do with the competence of their upper level management.

When Gobbo was at Canterbury last month, toooooons of people were doing the standard "is that Gobbo?!?" type of double takes, whispers, nudges etc. He's definitely marketable.

He also seems like a pretty cool dude irl, too.

Wait, Schneids knows gobbo?

I don't get it. Why people give you so much [censored] because of your looks and your weight. You are a poker player and obviously a very good one, you are not in the modeling business.

[censored] the haters. Damn, I would exchange my good looks for your abillity to play poker any day.

Wow. Does money really mean that much to you? Would you swap his money for, say, your left arm? Or maybe 15 years off your life?

the brevity of this statement from pokerbob, replying to schneids, about Gobbo, just made a third-world nation explode.

If you are implying that gobboboy will lose his left arm as a result of the diabetes that he inherited from the worthless genes and parenting of gobbomom, than I must say I like this post.
