I don't think he's a bad choice at any stage to be fair. However, I just don't see him as the "be all and end all" of a Euro FF team right now.

Edit: Also, hasn't it already been confirmed that VP will be starting?

Agreed, he's far from essential at this stage given the group they're in. Given the uncertainty of the German/Spanish/Italian strikeforce he is, however, a relatively safe option, and can always be shipped out once these becomes clearer.

^ Yeah its about if you want to take the risk or not. You only get one captain in the game week but u can stick or twist each matchday.

You shouldn't have put ex captain on the bench, should have just changed the captain. Anyone on the bench gets u 0

If your team is YOLO then it was a good thing to change your captain and lose his points. The 3 players you had yesterday got 2 points a piece. RvP has a lot better chance of scoring more than that today.

Had a shocker today. Stuck with Chalkias in goal on 3pts as thought no way Anderson keeps a clean sheet v Holland. Sigh.
And captained afellay who got 2 when had Kerz on 5 before.

To be fair I don't know why I'm talking like this with so long left. I thought allefay played well, unlucky not to get more there. Don't think many were predicting a holland loss/draw either. Let me down as well.
