Hi all,
I was beating 16nl consistently for 5 bb/100 over 50k hands (7bb/100 with All-in Adj.) over the last 5k hands or so however I have gone on a bit of a downswing (see graph) it's only about 7 BI's, but I had a bad run when taking shots at 25nl also which is not in graph. I am still running under ev, and the amount of times I've had to fold aces and kings on the flop, turn or river is pretty painful, but my bb/100 has dropped to under 3 now. I'm starting this thread for a couple of reasons.
A. I was wondering how common downswings are in the micros, obviously at the mid stakes they are just part of the game, but should a decent player go through the micros without too much variance?
B. Any advice on the red line? seems to drop quite dramatically.
C. When the money is not that significant, it's sometimes hard to find a point to play and try to improve when you are losing, any advice is much appreciated.
Hi all,
