So I lost JJ to Q4s all-in pre-flop for 300 BBs today. (I limp, Q4 makes it $25, 2 callers, I make it $125, Q4 makes it $225, I put him all-in for $280, he calls, Q-high flop, easy game.)

I’m done for real now. A long-awaited DOWNSWING of $1800 this week emptied my bankroll—I’m out of money!

I finish my “career” with a win rate of 19 BBs an hour in 250 hours of play.

Yeah. Every time my roll got over $3,000 or so I'd put $1,000 of it in our joint checking account for expenses.

True win rate for a crusher in this game is probably closer to like $15/hr. Maybe $20/hr if not tipping and you are ok with everyone hating you.

UPDATE: quit my job, switched to a part-time no-stress job that will leave me more time for THE POKERS.

Good luck!

Hopefully the part time covers your expenses so you don't have to depend on the pokers. Poker is so much more fun when it can be relatively stress free.

Up $2500 through 5 sessions of $1-$2 in my glorious return

Let’s not talk about Thursday. That wasn’t fair. One guy gave me the “I know I’m beat but I call anyway” speech when I was bluffing, what the **** is that?

You are the first person ever to have ace high flush draw vs smaller fd and win with ace high.

Amazing bro.

Had to be a JT, but yeah. When he called my reraise on the flop I sure didn’t like my chances of winning unimproved!

update: I’ve now had seven straight winning sessions over the last two weeks, having won about $5,000 in that time.

My overall stats are now 23 BBs an hour over 292 hours.

Moreover, in the life news, my part-time job that I got is basically the most enjoyable job I’ve ever had in my life? It’s at a foggy day care, so they basically pay me to play with dogs all day? I’ve never been so happy?

From this moment on, ending sentences with a question mark even though they are not actually questions, will not be permitted in this thread. Failure to abide by this rule may result in severe consequences.

Sounds like games are good and you are running pretty good at the same time. Great combo while trying to build that bankroll up!
