I'm actually not 100% sure I believe the trajectory of this hand. You'll have to start vlogging so we can witness it first-hand.

The Vlog would show that I lost $600 today lol.

Down to 26 BB/hr. The downswing is real!

(A mother****er just called my 4-bet when he held AA to my QQ, and then we caught a 554 flop so of course I put $300 in on the Flop thinking I’m good. I’m so bad!)

No I KNOW you're trolling us. Nobody loses $300 on the flop in 1-2!

I saw some big stacks on 2-100 on my way to briefly play Omaha. I was wondering which stack was you, but sounds like I was looking at the wrong players?

Nice raise getting the flush to fold.

Thanks. I didn’t think it was a bluff!

I did the same yesterday too lol, 5-way to flop A88 I have 9863ds, LAG that’s been running his mouth donks $100, I go $200 to iso, OMC folds and tells me he had KQJ8.

Everyone thought I was a nit and had quads lol.

Edit: besides OMC, he just figured I already had a boat and was drawing dead.

I’ve now lost $1,335 over my last 5 sessions. I’m beginning to accept that I was perhaps not the single greatest poker player of all time, and that perhaps I ought to get a job after all.

A lot of them were just total coolers though, I mean, setups where I just HAVE to go broke. Like:

* I raise with 96s and the Blinds defend with 88 and AQ and we catch an A82r flop.

* Villain raises with AJ, I call on Button with K4s, and the board runs out J545J.

* I raise with Jh9h, 4 callers, flop AcKc5d.

* My 44 vs V1’s 33 and V2’s KQ on a Q32 flop.

Just, so sick, nothing I can do, brutal setups.

You are beginning to feel pain. Embrace the pain and you will emerge stronger than you could possibly imagine.

Oh thank God, made $750 in 4 hours.

Skill game, guys, can’t forget:

JcJs in BB. EP raise to 8, 2 callers, I 3-bet to 36, only one caller (a guy who called the raise on the Button). Flop Ad9d5h. I bet 24 he calls. Turn 3h. I bet 100 he calls. River Jd. I bet 100 he calls with AhKc

Also, in those 4 hours, TWO DIFFERENT PLAYERS checked back nut quads on the River.

I don't believe that last one in the slightest which makes us all cast doubt on the veracity of ANY of your claims.

...more than we already did.

First one was classic: Short-stack limps, I raise to $10 with 66, Button calls limper calls. Flop A73. Check check check. Turn 7. Short stack bets $10 (he only has $30 left). I fold. Button calls. River brick. Shorty bets $15, leaving $15 behind. Button reaches for raising chips. Shorty says “man, I know you have a 7, leave me some gas money why don’t ya” and Button says “ok, I’ll just call, but I don’t have *A* 7, I have TWO sevens” and tables quads.

Other one: 5-way limped pot. K93. Everyone checks. Turn 3. Everyone checks. River 7. Everyone checks. Button—who earlier needed the Dealer to explain why his J5 lost to AJ on a QJ52Q board—tables 33. “I wanted to make sure I got the $200 high-hand bonus!”

I’ve just reached the 150-hour milestone, and, as expected, variance has caught up and my win rate has stabilized. I am now only averaging 26 BBs an hour.

This last session, I don’t know, it barely even counted as poker. Softest table I have ever played on, by a factor of a zillion. Over 6 hours, players who were NOT me made like 8 raises. I had zero interesting spots and won zero big pots. It was an afternoon of raise/C-bet/win, over and over and over again. I use my phone to write down the significant hands I played and I wrote down ONE. On a day I made $550!

I may never go back to my old casino. I’m a Canterbury Park man now.

what is the new poker room? Canterbury?

is there a bad beat jackpot where you played? just curious why they would check back quads.

They have a $200 “high hand bonus” every hour, and the guy was worried he might do something wrong and it would t count? Even though he had 33 on a K9337 board?

Who the **** knows?!?

My biggest hands from today’s $1375 session. My secrets to Winning Poker are:

1) run good
2) repeatedly get less than max value in spots because I suck:

Raise JhTh on Button to 14 after 2 limpers. SB and limpers call. Flop 862hh. Check check, last limper bets 20, I raise to 120, all fold, he goes all in for 200, I call. He has AsAc, but I River a flush.
___________
Call an UTG raise with TT in SB. 4-ways. Flop T97r. Xx UTG bets 20, CO calls, I raise to 80, BB calls, UTG folds, CO calls. Turn 3s (2 spades on board). I bet 100, BB calls, CO goes all-in for 107, I call, BB calls. River 9x. I bet 100, BB folds. CO mucks, My Hand Is Good
_____
Raise 66 in HJ to 10, 4 callers. Flop 964r. BB donks for $4, a call, I raise to $40, Button calls, everyone else folds. Turn 7. I check, he bets 100, I call. River 5. I check he checks. He has 97 for two pair and My Hand Is Good.
_______
UTG raises to 10, I 3-bet to 30 with AcAs he calls. Flop 995r. He checks I bet 20 he calls. Turn 3 (puts 2 spades on board). He checks I bet 100 he calls. River Jx. He checks I bet 100 he calls with QQ, My Hand Is Good
___________
I raise UTG with JJ to $10, UTG2 and BB call. Flop 553r. X, I check, UTG2 bets 20, I call. Turn 7x. I check he bets $55 I call. River 2. I check, he bets $45, I call. He shows 99, My Hand Is Good.
