Background info: It's a 5/5 NL (Max buy in $1000) and the game is basically where every one just has to see a flop. A $35 raise will routinely get 5-6 or more callers and even if you reraise, J7suited is gonna call. Every pot was huge.

I bought in for $500, played only a few hands all night and had built my stack to around $2200.

IN BEFORE: Op is a scumbag, op is an idiot, op is a d-bag, or anything along those lines.

I'm in MP. It is folded to me and I raise to $25 with A9.
A millionaire to my immediate left calls.
CO calls.
BTN tosses a $25 chip that falls so close to CO's five reds.
SB folds, BB puts in $45.

5 seconds later BB realizes that it was BTN's call and not reraise. He said he thought BTN reraised but since it was not minimum, it's not a real raise anyways and that he meant to call.

Every one was like who cares he meant to call to it's a call. But I objected and I demanded that we enforce the right rule. Since $45 is a valid reraise ($5 to $25 to $45). There was yelling at the table. BB was forced to put in the $45.

Back to me, I toss in $180. The millionaire goes "you know what, I have sh*t but you pissed me off!" as he slams his entire stack of seven blacks in the middle.

I was gonna fold but he was talking way too much like he doesn't care about money and money means nothing to him. And I'm thinking if he's that strong why not reraise me when I put $25? Then he's like he doesn't care if he has the best hand and he's hoping to suck out on me because he doesn't like the way I act. Pretty sure I have him beat, but not by much and figured if I lost I would still have about $1500 left ($1K profit) so I made the call.

Board runs all babies until the beautiful A hits the river. The millionaire only had K4 and kept saying he didn't care about money. He then challenges me to 100/200 NL for a million dollars (lol?) and I promptly turn down his offer (because I don't gots a mirrion dorrars ) so then he insta tells me to STFU.

Everyone at the table were talking about how I made BB put the $45 only so I could reraise and steal the pot. To my defense, I once had a $900 pot taken away from me because of certain "rules" even thought I had the winning hand, showed it to everyone including the dealer but put 'em face down and it was declared a muck.

A few hands later, the millonaire raises, 2 call, flop was something like 8-3-8, millionaire c-bets, both of us fold and he shows his cards to his opponent (but not me). So I demand a show-one-show-all rule and get to see his hand. He tells me "you're warned". I laugh on the inside like WTF is he talking about does he have his boys waiting for me outside or what lol?

Brag: Took almost $3K from 5/5 NL, left as table captain.
Beat: Enormeous migraine forced me out of the juicy game early.
Variance: Lost almost $2K in sports today.

He wanted to play for stakes that mattered to him. It would pretty much have to be my entire bankroll. If we played $5000 NL and he shoves into me with 10-8suited and I have AK, I'm not exactly whilling to put myself in a spot where I have to take that kind of gamble for money that I worked so hard for.

While I understand, it's still only 5x your normal stakes, he wanted to throw money at you, and you could quit at any time (obivously).

I bought in for $500, I never buy in for table max. So that would be 10x my normal buy in. It just so turns out that I dodged 12 outs with my aces to win a $1200 pot early and then flopped an boat against a rish fish that payed me off.

2. I suck at heads up cash.

3. He wanted to play 100/200 NL, not 25/50 NL.

And, I don't think he wanted to throw money at me exactly. He shoved with K4 because 1. He didn't think I had the balls to call him unless I had QQ+ as I'm "just a kid" playing tight. Or 2. He could suck out on me and talk all the trash in the world. Neither happened so he tightened up. He didn't even bother slowplaying his QQ on 338 out of position or whatever. He was probably all talk.

I don't understand how it's a raise to $45 if the player never physically said "raise"?

He put in a green with 4 reds together. It was meant to call someone's reraise but that someone had just called. It only seemed like a raise because his green chip and his neighboor's 5 red chips were so close. BB put in $45 as a call but wanted to pull $20 back when he found out it was only $25 to go.

I said no, the chips in the pot stay in the pot as long as the amount is legal.

Don't worry, our casino staff have no idea how to spell Poker. They change their rules everyday and only some of them enforce them, selectively. There is a whole new level of subjective vs. objective and if the bitch behind the table doesn't like your face, she'll rule against you as per "you were suppose to know what's going on". I was just lucky I was able to push the dealer enough to enforce the correct rule and then these turn of events to occur.

If you're under the age of 25, with a decent education and/or know a way to get money, you should have snap accepted 100/200 for a million.

Or just tell him you don't have a million but play for 100k at 25/50.

^^ I am 25 with a university education in finance but I don't have the $. The only possible source that I can get even $100K is my dad and no way he is going to lend me that much for Poker. I mean I could just lie to him and tell him it's for a property but then it would require a heck of a staging and burden on my conscience for something that could evaporate the money so quickly.

Remember I suck at heads up cash. Even that loose game, I was playing as straight forward as possible: Wait for nuts, get paid. No fancy positional stealing, etc. These guys were firing all kinds and even they did not know what they were doing, so how could I?

I got K10, board runs K6895 and the guy fires 1/2 pot. He thinks he's good with his K3 and thinks he is value betting. And unless I have a solid read with previous hands played in memory, no way I could make the call. He could have called 2 barrells with 7-7 or even A7 I could do more damage with the $300 in my stack then to chase that $600 pot that requires me being right only a 33% of times.
