My best guess is that these guys in the casino have watched too many videos of Tom Dwan playing J2s or whatever. They only forgot the part where they are not Tom Dwan. I, on the other hand, will fold something like JTs UTG every time. Nitty, mediocre, bland? Absolutely. But it works.
I have to say though, if I only make a couple of hundred $/month playing online, the training I get from it turns out to be gold when playing live.

I was wondering the same thing OP. Ppl at my local 1/2 brick and mortar are SO lame, so idiot... ppl that shoves all in UTG on the dark! Yes! It is that unbelievable. And not just once, but several all ins on the dark in a row! Ppl that goes aipf heads up with something like Q7o. They are not poker players, they are just sick degen gamblers.
In my country, it is forbidden games of chance like roulette, bingo, craps, etc. So all these whales only have poker to satisfy their degeneracy. I wish I had a bigger roll to proper handle the swings and make a big profit. But I'm working on that

Brazil. Casinos are forbidden here. But poker is allowed. We just have some poker houses here. Poker is quite new here actually. Just started growing the past 5 years to now. I wonder how much delightful to a poker pro would be to play these games. It can't get any softer game than that. But you need a proper roll cause the swings will be high.
If 6 players limps for $5 and you raise to $50 at very least 4 players will call you with their crappy hands hoping for a miracle flop! If you donk bet to thin the field you will only tease their degen instincts. I already made some cash outs ~$1000, and sometimes lose some buy ins of $100. But soon enough I will be crushing these whales.
