Really really tired of losing with Ace King pre...

At this point I'm thinking maybe just removing Ace King from re-raising all in and instead calling the re-raise to see the flop. Thoughts?

Situationally dependent.

But removing it completely from your 3! range is a terrible idea.

Would also need more information.

For example, if you're almost always calling with AA /and jamming with AK, then you'll get called down exploitively with non premium pairs.


I don't know your situation, but this is very common. People slow down with AA/KK to make sure they don't lose action, but jam with AK hoping for fold equity.

And then good players easily sus that out and exploit your jams.


If this is you, then make sure you do something like always jam KK, mostly jam AA, but use something like a 20% flatting frequency. And play AK the same as AA.

Same with QQ, almost always jam. As KK and QQ are vulnerable to A high flops.

So your jams V has to consider you can have QQ+ and AK. And your flats include AA and AK at times, along with all the other usual AQ and TT+

And your jams also have bluffs like A5s and 65s to balance.

I would just advise you to run better.

But this is *the* take on preflop shoving ranges. Its not an original nor a new idea.


Of course you can exploit specific players, but in general a non balanced shove range is easy for even the worst players to pick up on.
