Whatever you do, do not ever accept that you can not make your own life better. No amount of money is worth your life. I have been in a similar position and pulled myself out, you can do. Bite the bullet, get ready to bust your ass and don't ever look back.
When I was 24 I had dropped out of college to work as a laborer because I thought school was dumb. I started playing poker and was profitable until I found that PP had online blackjack, I lost my roll and ran up $17k in credit debt. I thought I wanted to die.
I Asked my uncle for help, and he agreed to pay the cards off and let me stay in his guest room while I attended school and worked full time.
That was 8 years ago and I now have a degree, a six figure job and am in the process of getting a graduate degree. I am not special, you can do this too.
