OK guys, thanks for reading and responding. I guess I'm only looking for some empathy :-) but more is welcome.

I'm not writing this off of my emotions or anything, just pure facts. Been playing for around 5 years now, with varying degrees of success, but more successfully lately. Only live tournaments, $100 to $500 buyin range. PA, NJ, DE, MD area.

Now to the point: I've had KK vs AA a countless number of times. Never, ever had AA vs KK. Not once in my life. Never ever beat AA with my KK either. This morning I flopped a set of K, with A also on the board. Turn and river was 2 and 2. Ended up going all-in only to find out that the guy was holding pocket AA.

I'm an agnostic and not superstitious. But am I missing something? Can normal variance be SO one-sided over such a long period of time? Should I start believing in "rigged casinos" conspiracies?

Yes you have. It's just that some people actually know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. Maybe you could learn from them, instead of getting married to your cowboys.

I'm not saying I've never had pocket AA. Just never had them against someone's KK in the same hand. Ever. Except maybe for when they folded. But definitely never with all-in preflop.

Youve either played poker a month or less, or you forget the wins and remember the losses. Either way this was a stupid post.

Maybe you're such a nit that people fold KK when they see you raise.

Being dead serious with you, you should believe casinos definitely do rig against mega winning and tight players. Look at my thread below, running like fire Explained.
