Hello

I've been playing poker for around 4,5 years and been enjoying the game to the fullest and it has given me a nice little cash flow during the years. Now I've encountered my sickest run ever during the past 6 months and I'm not the quite happy camper I used to be anymore.. I think it's best if I allow the pictures do the talking and cut my whining to minimum.

Ohh.. let's mention it's all from plo20

This is from the first skin at Ipoker:

Got fed up and moved to other skin. Hoping for a better run.. No such luck:

Same thing happened and then I thought 3rd time must be the charm right?

Just wondering who I should ship my three fiddy at Ipoker to run better? Anyone else got similar experience from Ipoker? Is this supposed to be standard variance?

I came in here to make fun of you for thinking there is such thing as variance in cash games.... But wow, I've never seen something so disgusting. You dropped almost 110 buyins in like 90k hands.... Kind of hard to believe this is even real...?

Ohh.. believe me it's real.. And I've been a winning poker player for years, kinda hard to win though when guys get runner runners half of the time when we are all in.. =/

PLO can be brutal. However, your EV is below zero in the last two graphs, so perhaps you didn't play your A-game (which I can understand). Anyway, GL.

Yeah well I'd like to see someone taking a beating like that and still playing their A game.. I haven't gone in to massive tilt or anything and have been able to stay surprisingly calm and collected for the situation.. Maybe just haven't been pushing enough in marginal spots and played a bit cautious after all the beats.. Also notice that the last 2 graphs are for way less hands than the first one.

The statistical probability of this must be insanely small...

Seems like you're breakeven at best. At 10-20 cents... that's nowhere close to a nice cash flow. Sick EV loss though.

Nice read.. Ever heard of rakeback? Please show me your graph of 100 bins below ev and still expected to win money..? Plus I said nice _little_ cash flow just 1k per month tax free is nice extra at least for me.

Sick run but ur BE in terms of EV in 90k hands at PLO20 on iPoker. If you cant beat this game you should find a new one.

[ ] Breaking even over 90k hands means you're a breakeven player

Now that's a lot of crap in NL, let alone PLO. Also, fish tend to call flop and turn with their straight draws and leave like 1/20 pot behind on the river. When they hit their gutshot, we should obviously snapfold our top set to this huge bet, but since we are calling stations and don't, HEM punishes our EV as we went all in dead.

I also want to send my greetings to those training sites who think that a player who has had a nice winrate over 200k hands (according to PTR) will be a fine coach... Meh!

So you can't beat plo20 on a euro site (in terms of EV)?
