Well I worked my way to roll myself for 19BI's at 5nl (not quite enough, but wanted a shot at it) after beating 2nl over like 30K hands, more as proof that I can beat it than needing to grind for the roll. Well, the last few days haven't been fun, the cards have not been falling for me.

I have holes in my game for sure, but this was bad timing for some short term downward variance (I think that's what it is!)

-$34 on my currency vs all-in ev. Just venting.

That's not so bad I'm down -57 I think it is in the same range for 10 days. KK 2xs busted I believe to inferior hands and another KK busted to AA. AA busted tonight to a guy who rivered me with a 6. I got tilt, I let it effect my gameplay and I leaked chips. I did zen back up but then found players playing wildly ... I mean 4-5 players involved in every hand and you really got to tighten up in this situation cause you never know how many will draw on you with so many in a hand. 2 NL or 5 NL is so brutal for the draws cause everybody calls you and their brother so you got to get your money in good at the right time with the right odds and just know you made the right decisions. Eventually given time you should be able to rebuild with the fundamentals and patience? Or if nothing else have fun doing it all! I feel I tilted away more than my badbeats! I have to put in my journal PLAY more patiently! 2 Pair, or 3 of a kind isn't always good... Fundamentals, Practice more. Also play rested and strong and get freebies out of your poker site to pay for the rake that eats friggin' half your earnings!

Poker is brutal at any level. I've played for a long time... I think I could go bust playing it by the book it's that brutal, every hand. As I've heard pros and great players write or say they have. Ferguson went bust when he did his 0 dollar 10k run didn't he a few times? Not sure I remember correctly. Keep playing 30,000 isn't that many hands unfortunately.
