I think there's a few links in this thread. Basically the same bet but for him to make $25k. I think he made it in like 23 days.

Still $40k is a lot more, the games are tougher and you can't table select at all playing that kind of volume. If I had any money I'd probably bet.

does he have to play till the end of the period or the bet ends soon as he profits 40k.

Any possibility of pushing it back a couple days for people to get their **** together? Since it isn't a calendar month anyways the Feb 1st date seems arbitrary.

I don't have a problem moving it back a little bit but part of what little edge people betting against him might have is that the games are tougher this time of year then they are say July because of all the regs trying to go for SNE.

Yeah it's just at this point it seems either give it a little more time, or it isn't happening. From the last update, SG wasn't even close to having enough booked.

Click on the spacegravy prop bet on their website and they have screen names posted to send across multiple sites. You will get an email confirming your transfer and I'll update the list every day to confirm you have sent the money. I need at least 40k in action before Feb 1st for the bet to begin and If I get more than 50k in action, I believe inyaface(Max Greenwood) is first in line to bet for me so contact him. If I get less than 40k in action I have the right to decline from the bet and everyone who sent money will be refunded whatever amount they sent. Please send before 1/31/09 so everything will get started as smooth as possible.

ya, but what should we do send everyone's money back and try to do it again in March or hold everyones money and try to start it like a week later?

ahh i think you are underestimating him. He can do this. He is going to have to play his a$$ off though. It is still poker too and running bad can happen. Plus if what you say is true then all he needs to make is 25k at the 9 mans which he has already done in less then 30 days before. (See last prop bet he won) Still this isn't going to be easy.
